I loved this product. I would say this a great gift for people who love to garden and take care of plants. Also, it is not expensive and it is worth the money since you get so many seeds and all of the gardening tools with it if you are a beginner. This product also has a great step by step instruction book that makes planting everything super easy and easy to follow. It has great plant variety since you are not only getting all the tools but 5 different types of trees. I will definitely be buying this again.

Really nice packaging with detailed explanation. Good quality. Followed step-by-step process, planted on December 25. Three of the five varieties sprouted within days (Pigeon Pea, Jacaranda, Locust). Plenty of seeds available for a replant which was done on February 8, when I replanted the other two varieties. Made first transplant of the Pigeon Pea on February 8 (photo). Other two varieties are progressing. Recommend you follow water and light directions closely. Also recommend a small grow light to manage exposure in the early stages and a rotating display platform (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3PLF4GJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) to provide air flow and even light absorption.

I was genuinely surprised how quickly this bonsai kit started showing results! It’s been only 7 days since I planted the seeds, and you can already see the little sprouts popping out (see my photos!). 🌿 The kit includes everything you need to start: seeds for 5 bonsai varieties, biodegradable pots, soil pellets, tools, wooden box, and markers. The box is nicely made and looks great on the kitchen counter – it keeps everything organized and cute at the same time. I didn’t expect the seeds to germinate so fast, but they did — and watching the tiny plants grow has been such a joy! Some are growing faster than others, but that’s part of the fun. It’s a relaxing and satisfying experience, and a great way to get into indoor gardening. I highly recommend this as a gift or just a little project for yourself. Really nice. Giving as a gift and contemplated purchasing another for myself until I discovered that no wisteria seeds were included in the kit I’d purchased. That is the one I was most excited about. That being said, everything else seems to be great. Clean packaging, excellent instruction manual and a lovely concept fulfilled by quality materials.

This was my daughter’s favorite Christmas present! (Age 11) she loves plants and was so excited! I was so glad it came with EVERYTHING we needed! Simple to do and we already have 1 sprout! 😍 We can’t wait to see what she can grow!

Amazing little kit for a great value. I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. It comes in the most cutest and nicest wooden box that you can put the plants in. Comes with basically everything you need. Very nice quality. He started the seeds the same day I gave it to him and they have already spouted. It also comes with a nice amount of seeds. We were very impressed.

It’s been almost a month since I planted these seeds. In before, I must say I’m a newbie gardener and had no prior experience growing something like this (except playing around in childhood of course). I followed the guide that comes with the item. Not strictly, but most of the points. Left to right: - Jacaranda: medium germination (around 1-2 weeks) and slow growth. I’ve planted 5 seeds and 3 of them germinated. Then, 1 died. Two left. - Locust: fastest germination, medium growth. They died because my dog ate all the sprouts so my wife planted one more set (thankfully the seller provides many spare seeds) and now we have 3 sprouts. - Flame tree: VERY slow germination. The result on the photo is one month, yes. You probably need to soak it more and then peel the seed shield to grow it faster because otherwise you will wait eternity. - Crape Myrtle: fast germination, medium growth. There were many small seeds so instead of picking five I just spread around 50 of them and had many sprouts. I just cut all the smallest and kept the healthiest and biggest ones. Now I have around 7. - Pigeon pea: the success, the one that outgrown the pot. Fast germination, fast growth. I replanted it to bonsai pot few days ago and cut it. We will see how it will behave, but I should say it’s really strong plant because when I removed excessive sprouts, they started to grow again. It’s a great kit overall. Tools are… crap. But for the price it’s okay in my opinion. Moreover it’s enough to replant/cut and all the stuff and the first steps. Yes, growing takes much time, especially when you are trying to grow a tree. Be patient. It’s an adventure for years, if not for the whole life. But if you will not start it - you will never know what you can achieve.

I bought this as a small project to slow down and do something different, and it ended up being way more enjoyable than I expected. Everything comes nicely organized, and the instructions are clear enough even if you’ve never grown anything before. It’s oddly relaxing planting the seeds and checking on them each day. This also makes a really good gift, it looks thoughtful, not cheap but worth it

The product and quality exceeded my expectations, (for the price). I just planted them, so still waiting to see what sprouts but they have a full guarantee on the seeds. If you are thinking of getting into the Bonsai hobby or want to gift someone who might be interested in the hobby. I think this is an affordable kit and well put together kit. The one thing I would warn, is that this is a starter kit and when the trees start to sprout you will need to buy or have pots to transplant the trees too. ( the kit does have detailed instructions on how to properly transplant them.)

Great initiation to Bonsai, awesome value for money! I did cover each planter with a plastic dome to encourage germination, and had to turn my heater up quite a bit to ensure the temperature was appropriate. If temperature, water and other factors aren’t right, no kit or seeds will germinate! So if this kit doesn’t work for you, look at controlling those factors first. Also, restrict What I loved: 1. Everything needed to get started is included. 2. The seeds packs are very generous, if not sprouting at first, one could attempt multiple times! 3. The seeds included are, as far as I know, beginner-friendly. Not all seeds and trees are suitable for beginners. What I think would make it even better: 1. Including soil for future attempts would be nice, or for the company to sell this solo. 2. Including thorough overview of bonsai as an art and how to take care of bonsai after replanting. Having a little book or e-book would help keep the enthusiasm alive. 3. I’d love it if the company sold next-step products: soil, pliers and cable, pots and trays, and all the things I might not even know I need yet. Seeing how well the kit works, I would trust them for additional products and stop looking elsewhere. All in all, it’s been a lovely and gratifying experience. I can’t wait for all of these to sprout, and would happily gift this to friends and family!

The box was broken on delivery, but was all intact. Started to grow, going by instructions and have had absolutely no luck getting any of the seeds to germinate. Very upset with this. Edit: Seller contacted me and offered to make it right. Very happy with them doing so!

Great kit; outstanding customer service prompt and clear when I had some questions about the step by step of the process.

I tried very diligently. Followed all instructions and a few (four out of five) of the samples sprouted. However. Small bugs began to come out of the soil and the plants quickly started to die. I have one left but I had also been thru trouble and I’m doubtful it will last. I just found tiny bugs flying around. I’ve kept it away from my other plants to avoid contamination. Would not purchase again and one moth for return is definitely not enough time to decide.
