At 83, I have trouble getting up and down. This has truly been a blessing for me. I can be more independent and struggle less by using this about twice a day. I carry it from room to room and will soon order a second one. It is awesome and I recommend that every aging adult buy one. It is sturdy and easy to use.

Very helpful in getting up off a sofa. Useful when outside weeding flowerbeds, getting up from ground is much easier with this tool.

Needs to expand to a taller position.

I am 82 years old and will retire next month! I have not been very active lately and have lost a lot of muscle mass, and getting up from the floor, after a minor fall, is tough without a helping hand. Using this does help, I have a couple in the house just in case!!! They seem to work well on tile or wood flooring, I have no carpets to try but I think it would work just fine. Your best friend (husband or wife) will applaud you for buying a couple of these as they will not have to worry so much about you when they are not home!! Definitely recommended for most seniors!!!!

I bought this because after a failed back fusion, I can no longer get up off the floor. I thought this would really help me I tried it in different rooms, kneeling on both knees, kneeling in one knee, and even laying on my back as if I fell. It didn’t work for anything. It is useless and it wobbles when I try to use it to get up. I do not recommend this if you cannot get up off the floor.

I don't know what I was expecting this item to accomplish, but it did nothing to make it easier to stand up. I clean 5 litter boxes twice a day. It's difficult for me to get back up from kneeling to clean them. I was hoping that this item would help, but it doesn't. If you're getting older, like me, make time to exercise to gain and maintain the strength that you need and don't waste your money on gimmicks.

This little gadget is perfect for my husband to get up from the couch and also the disable chair when he takes a shower. I recommend this highlight

It's beautifully made and it does the job but will it be nearby if you have a senior fall? Then why not grab a table leg and pull yourself up .(Remember daily to strengthen your hands and arms gripping rails and banisters when ever you go up and down). But it seems like in the garden or a project in the house it would be great to have it with you. Never fall backwards.
