As a person who lives on fish this book provides information on all the various species mankind eats,including such things as Jellyfish and Sea Cucumber with a detailed report on each species and followed in the last section of the book plenty of really good recipes to feed the taste buds of any fish eater. The best book on fish, what to do with it & how to cook it that I've ever seen. It was recommended to me by a friend & I have since bought 2 copies, one for myself & one as a present for a friend. The book gives details on individual fish & shellfish, origin & basic cooking instructions in the first section & recipe suggestions in the second part.

This is a really comprehensive, informative book. It is easy to read and very well illustrated.the recipies are easy to follow and tasty.I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys fish and seafood. You won't need another.
