Benchmark Leather Watch Band - Crazy Horse Oiled Leather One-Piece Military Watch Strap - Brushed Stainless-Steel Zulu Style Hardware - 18mm, 20mm, 22mm or 24mm Widths

I bought the Benchmark 22-mm dark brown leather strap, with Zulu-style stainless-steel fittings. It is attractive and well-made, but two aspects of it were not quite to my liking. First, the spacing between the second and third oval rings barely accommodates my huge Seiko SRPE93 Prospex divers watch. Second, because I have very small wrists, the bulkiness of the Zulu-style hardware looks too large. For me, the understated NATO-style Benchmark strap (with smaller hardware) is a better choice.

This is objectively a well-made band. It has solid hardware, good stitching, and leather that will break in nicely with time and is not too stiff out of the package. As all NATO bands are, it is easy use and wear. Slip it through, secures, and go. It is a good value at this price. If you want to try a leather NATO, this a good choice.Next for some personal thoughts on this product.I do not ding this product its one star for a personal preference for the "single-pass" NATO design over the double. I cut the second-pass loop off with a pair of scissors. I have plenty of NATO straps I have done this to, and I do not see this impacting the durability of the band. I think I prefer the feel of the single because it is what I first used, and it allows more free adjustment along the length of the strap--which leads me to my next point.This band is very long which is not a problem. My only note is that I think the manufacturer should have a few more hole punches that can make the watch band smaller still; I will need to add a few holes as the band stretches from use. I do not think of my wrist as being particularly small, but I am wearing this band on the smallest hole.Designed in USA. Made in China.

Great strap. Love the oxblood color. Really looks sharp with a copper-toned watch.

The quality of the band is fine, but the metal loops are useless. There is too much space between the loops and the band, so it defies the whole point of a NATO strap, where the band doubles back on itself, held in place by the metal loop. Except it's not. And got forbid you're between holes in the band — once you wear it in, there's no going smaller.

I'm a watch collector, I bought this to swap out the band on a Timex Weekender because it came with a piece of trash be default. This is my work watch, it gets beat up, scuffed, pulled, caught, etc and gets put through a lot. The leather itself is a little soft so don't expect it to last years and it runs large so if you have skinny wrists like me you'll need to trim it.All things considered: I love it

I can’t speak to durability since I only received this watch band today, but it is leather so I’m sure it’ll hold up just fine. I was never crazy about the band that came with my watch so I’ve been looking for something better. I like this one so much that I may order another one in a different color just to have options.
