Floor Rising Screen (120 inch, ALR Screen)

I bought this screen to pair with my AWOL 3000 projector in hopes to watch movies/tv in a lit room. The black screen is perfect for just that! Just like watching a big screen television. Looks even more amazing and vivid in darker rooms; having the option to use during the day and night is wonderful! The base that the screen rolls into is pretty heavy but works great. It is also sturdy and doesn't break easily. I know because I used it outside on a slightly windy day and it blew over (twice) despite the base being as heavy as it is. It fell over on a storage container that I was using to prevent the screen from blowing over and the screen didn't tear or break. I wish it came with some type of supporting poles to prevent it from falling over in windy weather. That is the only suggestion I would make but overall, a fantastic purchase! Would by again if I had to do it all over again. One more thing, it comes with a usb dongle that links the screen with the projector...so when it is turned on/off, it raises and lowers accordingly. Customer service is also great as they replaced my usb dongle that broke when my screen fell over.

I have tried a variety of screens over time and finally gave up and just used the wall as it was easier in apartments. My latest place has the worst walls so I started searching again and I found this beauty on sale. It arrived in a very long box that took a while to unload and unpack the screen. However, once it was in place, everything was easy - the fob for the projector has worked every time to open or close the projector depending on if it is on or off. I haven't hooked it up to my UPS yet with other devices, I wanted to wait and see what happened during a power outage with the screen open vs closed. The screen itself is the best I've ever seen and works both during the day and at night. I had some helpers over to help with a monitor and they were asking questions about the screen and liked it as well. The only downside is that it is a bit noisy when it rises into place and returns to the case. However, it doesn't take that long but something to be aware of if you have neighbors.

Setup was quick and effortless right out of the box. The screen pairs beautifully with my Hisense projector. The picture looks stunning with deep contrast and vivid color even in moderate light. Customer service was timely and very helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend for anyone building a clean, modern UST setup.

This screen is great. Designed for short throw projectores placed on bottom of screen. It allows you to watch with the lights on without picture being washed out. This screen has blockouts to keep the lights from above from washing out the picture. The screen looks cool coming up from the floor instead of the usual coming down from ceiling. The mechanism is smooth up and down and when fully up has no sags. Im in the theater buisness and have seen alot of screens and this one tops them all

The screen worked fine, it was super easy to set up and appeared to be pretty stable. But we sent it back because it was enormous! It didn’t fit into what we thought was a big enough room. We had to move chairs back another 5 feet to fully process what was going on in the picture. Unless you have a huge entertainment area, consider getting a smaller screen.

Outstanding screen, not a wrinkle to be seen. love the way it rises up out of the housing and the stand that goes with it is great too not only for the screen but the projector as well! great buy, you won't regret it (i would include a photo but the lens on my phone is broken at the moment)

After 3 days, it broke and the projector would not rise with no cause either. To make matters worse, calling customer support 6 times did not help the situation whatsoever. Poor product and even poorer customer service.

Operates amazingly has a weird smell when extended I hope it goes away soon.

So far so good! This is an excellent bit of kit.

Super Leinwand und toller Kundenservice !!!

The claims about ALR are greatly exaggerated. If you have a window without blinds, and the sun coming in, you won't be able to see anything. During nighttime, a white wall is actually better than using this screen. It is useful in modest light settings, like early in the morning or when it starts to get "just a bit" dark or during days without sun. And even here, it's probably not worth the price. I would not recommend it because of the price. Any cheaper screen will have a better price/quality ratio.. Photos: 1. Easy to set up - just unbox and plug in! Dongle fits into projector and it rises/lowers along with projector coming on/off. Absolutely beautiful picture in all light conditions and the bottom panel allows for soundbar/skybox/xbox to sit behind and still work perfectly. Really great product. Delivered to room by couriers. Only warning - if you think you may want to return this and change to the larger 120" version there does not seem to be a way to do so - Amazon are happy to take it back but cannot organise collection and size/weight makes getting a courier yourself impossible. However, am very happy with 100".

Die Leinwand wurde zusammen mit dem Awol Vision LTV 3000 Pro gekauft, wozu ich eine separate Bewertung geschrieben habe. So sehr ich die Leinwand sowie den Kundenservice von Awol positiv bewerten möchte, gab es leider Probleme. Grundsätzlich ist die Leinwand super. Der Mechanismus zum Ausfahren aus dem Boden genau das, was ich wollte - da ich keine Leinwand an der Wand meiner Mietwohnung anbringen wollte, schon gar nicht in 100 Zoll. Über einen USB Dongle kann die Leinwand mit dem Awol Projektor verbunden werden und fährt nach Anschalten des Projektors automatisch hoch. Bei einem Abstand von ca. 3,5-4m zur Leinwand ist das Bild scharf und ein Kinofeeling entsteht. Wenn da nicht leider qualitätsbedingt links sowie rechts unten an der Leinwand Wellen zu sehen wären. Ich habe dieses Problem Awol direkt gemeldet und der Kundenservice war klasse! Man hat mir innerhalb von 5 Tagen eine neue Leinwand zugesendet - die alte sollte ich sogar behalten. Leider war dasselbe Problem auch bei der neuen Leinwand deutlich erkennbar - dazu noch Quetschungen durch das Aufrollen an der linken Leinwandseite! Bin daher weiter mit Awol in Kontakt und hoffe auf eine unkomplizierte Lösung. Mit den Wellen ist ein Filmgenuss (vor allem bei Kameraschwenks über hellen Hintergrund oder durchlaufende Balken bei CNN) nicht möglich. Schade. Ich vermute, dass die Leinwand bei niedrigeren Temperaturen gespannt wurde und jetzt im Sommer dadurch Wellen entstehen. Es gibt wohl auch weitere Bewertungen auf amazon dazu. Daher Stand jetzt die Empfehlung, eher auf eine Leinwand mit Wandmontage zu setzen, da diese selbst gespannt werden kann. Ohne das Problem wäre die Leinwand eine klare 5-Sterne Empfehlung! Update nach 4 Wochen: Nach mehreren Kontakten mit dem Verkäufer wurde mir ein Reparaturset bestehend aus 2 selbstklebenden Mini-Schienen zugesendet. Diese wurden mit Unterstützung einer Video-Anleitung an der Naht zwischen Leinwand und Akustikleiste angebracht, wobei die Leinwand durch Zug gespannt werden musste. Was soll ich sagen - es hat funktioniert! Daher wird die Bewertung auf 4 Sterne angehoben. Toller Support vom Verkäufer, jetzt kann die Leinwand wie gewünscht genutzt werden.
