I'm 67 and have been in pain, serious pain, for the past 18 years. I’ve been taking these collagen tablets daily and like how easy they are to swallow. So far, I’ve noticed my nails feel stronger and my hair looks healthier. The only minor issue is that it can take a few tablets to get your full daily dose, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, a convenient and effective supplement.

I dislike writing reviews, not only is it time consuming, but I believe most people are as skeptical about amazon reviews as I am. I am not recommending this product, nor advising anyone to do what I am without proper medical advice, or claiming neocell had everything to do with my results. I started my first bottle about six weeks into radiation therapy to the jaw. I couldn't eat and lost a nearly 25 pounds in less than a few weeks. My skin sagged, my face actually dropped; appeared deformed. I literally had a turkey neck. The radiation caused a large burn scar to the treated area and my skin was cracking, chaffing. These are usual reactions. After taking neocell for about a week a started to notice positive changes to the texture of my skin. Chaffing decreased and the skin over my entire body looked and felt smoother and hydrated. After a few more weeks, beyond the end of the treatment, my skin became tauter, moist, and the sagging began to disappear especially in my face. I look entirely better. Not like post treatment, but better. My doctor was impressed how my skin was healing and improving. I recently finished my first bottle. I had to start looking at vitamin c and d bone strengthening solutions after starting the birth control shot Depo Provera. For those who don't know, studies have shown a decrease in bone density for women choosing to take it. One of my friends suggested collagen, especially because I was looking for hair, skin and nails vitamins as well. Why take a whole bunch of seperate pills when one can do ALL of those things? I looked over different brands, and prices, and this one seemed to be the most beneficial and cost efficient one. I know 16 bucks for a pillbottle could seem a bit steep, but for 250 pills and a LOAD of goodies, I say it's actually the cheapest solution you'll find. And the best one. I can't say much about how my bones feel - the purpose of being on these vitamins for Depo Provera uses is to prevent bone loss, so those kind of results show up later in time. BUt it's working out well in just about everything else. My skin cleared up over time, and without me seeing a skin doctor at all. My left knee is still sensitive from the ligaments being torn back in high school, and it tends to get pretty sore when it rains. But not so much while i'm using these pills. In fact, my knee feels even stronger. As for the hair and nails part, yes, i saw a big difference there too. Because i'm a guitarist, I personally can't stand having long nails. so i always have to cut them. I seriously had to cut my nails practically every day. My hair showed growth through the roots, since I color it. So clearly, even if I couldn't feel any changed in my bones, everything else definitely showed it was working. I ran out a few months ago, and some of those results have continued, like nail and hair growth. It's not as strong as it would be if I took the pills again (my next bottle is already on its way), but just the fact it's continued working for this long after i'd stop taking them shows the effect that it has on your system. Other things weren't affected the same way, however. My skin returned to 'normal', and started breaking out again. And my knee started getting sore when it rained again. But all those things are to be expected when you stop taking this kind of pill Overall, very satisfied. Can't wait for my new bottle to get here!

Easy to digest

I’ve been a model for 10 years (started in my pre-teens) so my skin is super important to me. Also, I have a pre-med background (however, not a MD yet), and was at first skeptical of this supplement as some of you on here have mentioned, but nevertheless I persisted. And here are my results after trying this product for a year: - Hair: Slight increase in speed of hair growth. Went from a quarter of an inch to just a little more than a quarter of an inch a month. Slight increase. - Skin: No noticeable changes. Maybe slightly more hydrated, if anything. Hard to have empirical data for skin hydration, but still would have expected more. - Nails: Whoa! IMPROVED SPEED OF NAIL GROWTH TREMENDOUSLY. If anything this should be touted as a nail supplement. Shocked by effects on my nails. They are stronger and super hard. And this is coming from someone with normal to thin nails naturally. Overall, I would use this if you want to get longer and stronger nails. I am giving 4 stars because I am not sure if all the benefits and changes in my skin and hair could be atributed only to this product or the combination of all the supplements I take. I finished two bottles already. I started using it when I had a terrible acne that did not improve with anything. This product in combination with zinc, vitamin E and some nice face cleaning products help me out a lot. In desperation, I could burst the pimples, and I could see how the healing process of my skin improved since using this product. I was healing faster and the scars were smaller. My knees does not have a loud squeak sound that I used to have. When I finish my second bottle I forgot to order a new one and I still taking the rest of the supplements, but to my surprise, I start loosing a lot of hair lately. I take vitamins for the hair because I have a thinning problem, but I can observe that I am loosing a lot of hair since I am not taking this product. I do not know if it is coincidence, but I am ordering a third bottle right now. I bought from this seller and the product arrived fast and well protected. So, instead of going to my preferred health store, I am ordering from them again. Update: I decided to give 5 stars now after some years because I realized this collagen brand really helps me with my hair loss. I changed to the expensive powder in fashion, and I prefer this pills. Of course, I take 5 together in the morning with empty stomach. This amount is the one that helps with my hair.
