Norestar Stainless Steel Fluke/Danforth Style Boat Anchor

So i purchased this anchor severar months back but have not used it untill yestaerday 10-6-19.I have anchored 100's of times and all in the same area for the most part. Although the anchor looks reall nice and quality seemed good it didnt hold up. We dropped anchor and set good right away. Set for a few hours when suddunly we started to drag pretty fast. I pulled the boat over the anchor and pulled up as i always do. once it was out of the water i noticed it was bent quite bad! Vey disapointed! And it made for a pretty unsafe few moments. Do to this we had to head back and cut the day vey short. Again, this was its first time being used. I have many years of boating. I reached out to BHP Marine and they will not replace the anchor. The original listing said "up to 47' boat" my boat is 45' so I purchased. Now they are telling me that was a mistake on the listing and its only good for "up to 43' boat". So I purchased the anchor as per the description, they admit it was wrong but I get no warranty???

The dimension chart for the 8 lb anchor state it is 22.5 in long and 18.5 in. wide.....in REALITY it is 18.5 long and 14.5 wide....and will fall through my built in anchor well. haven't decided to keep it or not. ....I'm Really Ticked off about this. probably gonna send it back unless one of the neighbors kids can take it to work and " fix it" .

My bow roller was carrying an old and rusty galvanized Danforth-style fluke anchor. I bought this 8 pound stainless steel anchor and a length of stainless steel chain. Now I have "bow jewelry" that will pass inspection at any dock. In addition, the anchor matches the proven fluke style. The price is very aggressive. I am very satisfied with the quality of the fabrication and welding.

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I t replaced a galvanized old and rusted anchor that was originally installed on my boat. This sure looks more yacht like on my boat. Nice job.

Nice anchor, very shiny. Perfect for my 24 feet Yamaha SX240 boat. Hopefully I don’t lose this one.

Very nice looking anchor! It is somewhat smaller then I expected but it still seems to do the job effectively. It held all day in sand on a 17ft jet boat but I didn't get a chance to toss it in the deep to see how it grabs. I'm hoping it does well.
