Ray-Ban Rb8301 Aviator Sunglasses

I love the lenses- they make the trees look wonderfully green, and I like that they are light enough that you can wear them inside for a few minutes and still be able to see a little bit. They still block the sun perfectly! It's also wonderful how lightweight they are. They feel sturdy but not heavy on your face.The rubber pieces on the "arms" are indeed uncomfortable on the hair, BUT it is extremely easy to remove them! They aren't glued, so all you have to do is pull them out of the holes and you can replace them anytime you feel like it.The only slight issue for me is that the arms are very long, so if my hair is up you can see that they go pretty far back past my ears. No big deal really.

This is my fourth pair of RB8301s. As they're hard to find in 56mm polarized mirrored silver or brown, I was relieved to find them on Amazon, but remained dubious about authenticity. These are light frames, so it's difficult to determine authenticity on weight alone. When I noticed the rubber pad on the temples didn't pull on my hair (the only thing I disliked about this model, but which ALL my previous pairs did) I decided to check for authenticity and was pleased to find this pair checked all the boxes.1. Lenses: Polarized against electronic screenI recommend checking for authenticity before accepting a pair of Ray Bans from anything other than an authorized seller—which I only did bc these aren't available in my preferred size anywhere else. NOTE: These are SILVER, NOT BLUE, as a previous reviewer mentioned.

These are a nice quality pair of sunglasses. The materials are lightweight and show signs of good quality RayBan workmanship. I purchase RayBan's specifically for their commitment to quality materials and the availability of parts when needed. Not something you get with "fashion" branded shades. The lenses in this pair are non-polarized lenses and are flawlessly clear with no distortions. They have a nicely gradient rich-brown tint that isn't too dark for mixed light situations. There are new polarized lens versions of this same style available that have a darker tint for more intense sun protection needs - this also comes at a premium cost. Nice pair of sunglasses. I would recommend to others.

This is Ray-Ban. Enough said. It has beautiful design, combination of classic and modern style. Many are copying it, but nobody comes close. Frames are made of carbon and for that reason glasses are really light and it's pleasure wearing them on + they look great on everybody, which cannot be said for classic Ray-Ban design. I do photography and when taking photos of the people, everybody are asking me if they can have one extra photo but this time with my glasses. :)

It makes sense that you are cautious in making sure that the ones you buy are authentic... What happens when you see Ray-Bans with "Made in China" stamped on them...right away you think that they are knock-offs because they were not made in Italy. Well you can now rest-assured that you are getting the same quality Ray-Bans from China than you are from Italy. Luxottica, the world's largest eyewear company, OWNS Ray-Ban (along with many other well-known brands). They have chosen to use China as a manufacturing location along with Italy. The list of Ray Ban sun glasses models that are currently being made in China includes 3364, 3379, 3267, 3386, 8301, 3484, 3119, 3364, 3387, 8310, 4125F, 2168F and 3016 among other models.Due to public concern, Luxottica has made public their business model on their website.

I bought these on Amazon's birthday celebration. I have owned several aviator style glasses but the petite size of the lenses turned me to give these a try. I really love the fit and overall appearance. I have never seen anyone with this style. The lense color is soft and the design on the arms mixes well with any jewelry I'm wearing. The only drawback was noted by other buyers. There is a rubber cushion on the arm end that causes you hair to pull out when removing the glassed. It is really annoying but easily remedied with a drop of crazy glue on each spot. I read that trick from another reviewer.

NOT FOR WOMEN! If you have any bit of hair these aren't for you. My hair is only shoulder length and they pull it out. I read the reviews before I got them with people talking about it pulling their hair when taking off or putting on their head. I decided to purchase anyway. I really do think they frame my petite face great and love how they look. BUT... even the first time I went to take them off, they grab and pull my hair when taking off. I wore them all day just to see how often it did it and it did it every time. I live in Texas where we live in our sunglasses. These look great but if you have any hair it will pull and will hurt! I returned the next day sadly...
