Sealed 3- 1,000 peice puzzles and still have 1/4 left over
Best product ever! I use it on my puzzles and for my own peace of mind. I do a coat on front and back. My puzzles have never came apart. In fact, one actually fell from the wall, and it didn't bend, break, or chip the puzzle. Very very pleased with this product. Also, it lasts a pretty long time, depending on use! So you get a bang for your buck. Seals beautifully! I would recommend storing upright. As my bottle got glued together being on its side and spilled on carpet. HOT water allowed me to open bottle, but carpet unfortunately didn't make it. (Just a hard clumpy carpet space. No stains or noticeable discoloration, but upon touch, you can tell its been glued together.)

Pretty good for small projects shake well
I haven't tried this product on anything that would be outside long term, or anything like cups vases etc. Ive been using it to seal paint on my mini figures, to seal my clay items, and as additional sealing around fine micro dioramas. All of these have worked great. That being said, when I first used it I didn't like it, I swirled it up a bit, applied it. Waited 24 hours, and it was still tacky, goopy, and not clear. However...when I went back a few weeks later to give it another try. After I shook the bottle very very well before applying, it did great, it self leveled, all the bubbles disappeared, it dried crystal clear, wasnt tacky or sticky and held everything in place and sealed the paint. I even submerged it in liquid for my fake display and it held up just fine so far. Its been in this liquid for 3 weeks now and its still looking good. So moral of my story, shake WELL, and it does what its supposed to. Just be sure to clean the rim after you shake it or you'll have a hell of a time getting the lid off again :P

Easy to use sealer
Was looking for a good indoor/outdoor brush on sealer and came across this item. Used it for the first time to seal and shine some painted ceramic pieces. Brushed on the finish and it was easy to use, more watery than other similar products, but a little went a long way. Dried hard and clear, as advertised. These are not pieces to use with water, so can't comment on that aspect of the product. There is a slight smell to the product, but found it nowhere near as bad as feared, based on some other reviews. No worse than many craft products or sealers. Any smell dissipated quickly when using. Clean up was easy with soap and water. The packaging is why I did 4 stars instead of 5. Once the product was opened and recovered, the inner paper liner of the cap sealed to the jar when reopening it. The paper had to be peeled off again and was quite messy. Perhaps a different type of lid liner would not stick to the jar after use. Will be using with all kinds of projects, so looking forward to a.) Seeing product performance on outdoor projects and b.) Seeing if product yellows over time. Overall, so far would definitely recommend.

Scorch Market - Maker’s Magic
This is fantastic for decoupaging. It dries extremely! It’s the only product that I use.

Might be user error, but didn’t work great for me
I’ve only used this once, so it’s very possible I did something wrong or just need more experience with it. That said, it didn’t work very well for me. It stayed tacky even after plenty of drying time, and when the piece was exposed to water a few times, it wasn’t fully waterproof like I expected—the picture underneath ended up getting ruined. The finish looked okay at first, but the tackiness and water issue were disappointing. I’m not writing it off completely since others seem to have good results, but based on my experience so far, it wasn’t a great fit for what I needed.

Amazing finish
I have used this matte version and the gloss version of the sealer for almost 2 years. I cannot praise it enough. The gloss has a professional sheen that mimics a kiln fired piece of pottery. The matte is a nice satin finish. I have no issues with drying or cure time. The only thing I have to be cautious of is if my piece is too cold when I seal it. So I make sure to warm it up. No steaks compared to mod podge which streaks horribly. Doesn’t smell as bad as mod podge. Some of these reviews are wild. Something about a shock. My husband and I must have opened these bottles hundreds of times to no shock whatsoever. I have sealed many projects with only one coat needed. I still have half a bottle left of each of these. I couldn’t imagine going back to mod podge and all of its stealing problems.

I want to like this product but I’m scared lol it gives an electrical like shock every time I open it. I would take caution when opening. But other than that it’s great.

I bought this specifically because it said it would not smudge on metal mugs. I tried to seal sharpie on a Stanley mug and it smudged the ink. So disappointing!
