I have used this product in the past and have had wonderful results. I had thought that my older dishwasher needed to be replaced because I was seeing some black gunk inside. My daughter suggested that I try this Finish product. I can use it while dishes are in the dishwasher as well. Not all products allow the dishes in the dishwasher when using. It does a terrific job of cleaning the interior. My only disappointment and why I gave it a 4 star is because the package this time is in a in a foreign language possibly eastern European?

These work best on the hotter setting. I have hard water and these keep the dishwasher clean. I never pre rinse either!

When I got my Bosch dishwasher almost 12 years ago, I was told to keep it clean. That, according to the tech, was the most important thing. Due to the small amount of water used, soap would be left behind along with whatever else was present, causing the unseen parts to collect these materials and shorten the life of my purchase. Being frugal in nature, I decided to do the best I could for my new purchase. I was also told to use nothing but Finish products, which I have done since I bought the dishwasher. It runs like new, cleans my dishes, and still looks and smells wonderfully.I am very happy I followed these instructions and recommend this product without hesitation. I simply toss a packet into the bottom of the dishwasher, place a detergent pellet into the dispenser and turn the machine on. It's easy, and it works.

We've all heard the run around from our moms and their moms and so on and so forth that some vinegar in a cup or bleach in a cup in a hot cycle in a dishwasher is more than enough to clean it. Not.That can get rid of many VISIBLE dirtiness in your dishwasher, but I'm a bit of a stickler for wanting clean dishwasher so I can have clean dishes.This is SO easy to use - literally just drop it into your dishwasher and let it work its magic. I stopped a cycle half way through and examined the progress, and noted that this seemed to find and clean dirt I wasn't even aware was there. I'm not one for wanting to disassemble my entire dishwasher to get into the nitty gritty of cleaning it, so this did the cleaning job great for me! Doesn't really smell of much, though, which is a good thing for me at least.

It’s a decent maintenance cleaner, but for a truly deep clean, I may need to try another product or manual scrubbing.Overall, it’s good for light upkeep but not a miracle fix. Might work better if used more frequently!

This was my last ditch effort before buying a new dishwasher.I feel like I take reasonable steps to keep it operating well. Use rinse aid, premium detergent, somewhat regular vinegar cleanings, etc. I run it about every four days. We have pretty hard water here though and it slowly declined to the point where items on the top shelf weren't getting cleaned.My dishwasher is old, noisy, and a low-end model with few options. For all these reasons, I was looking for a reason to purchase a new one lol.
