John Frieda Radiant Red Red Boosting Shampoo, Daily Shampoo, Helps Enhance Red Hair Shades, 8.3 Ounce, with Pomegranate and Vitamin E

I really like the shampoo, I’m older and my hair is starting to fade, red hair trends to fade as you get older. It doesn’t dry my hair out at all. For me it’s great! I don’t know if it would work as well on dyed hair but it’s great for natural red hair.

I have naturally strawberry blonde hair. As I’ve aged, it’s gotten more and more blonde. I don’t want to dye it. Strawberry blonde is a hard color to get without investing big money, but I wanted to kick up the red, just a bit. This does the trick. It’s not covering my grays (which look blonde), but it seems to enhance my red. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

I bought three (!!) different shampoos to keep my very red highlights --- very red. This one, John Frieda Radiant Red Red Boosting Shampoo, is the least expensive one that I bought and, I think it is the best for revving up my red. It is thin and red in color. It washes my hair well and deposits some red on my hair. It doesn't stain or run. It has a bit of a cinnamon scent that I like. I used my usual conditioner and my hair came out nice. A tad bit dry but all of these color depositing shampoos seem to make my ends dry. I just ordered the accompanying conditioner hoping that will add more red and help with the dryness. In all, I think this is the one I will use from now on. The others, although higher priced and salon names, didn't give me as much of a red boost. If the shampoo and conditioner don't make my hair too dry, I will use it often between salon touch ups.

This keeps my red hair red! I stopped using it for a while and noticed my color fade. Also, it does make my hair a little dry, but I welcome that because I have limp, thin hair, so it gives me volume when it's a little dry. Love this shampoo!

This makes my bright red last a little longer. I've tried soooo many brands and this works pretty good. The price isn't that bad either. I follow with a color seal as well.

I am a natural redhead and my hair has darkened as I have gotten older. I got this hoping it might brighten me up a bit, but honestly I couldn't see much of a difference. I'm sure if works better for dyed hair than it does for naturally red hair. It does smell nice.

The only shampoo and conditioner I use. Revitalizes my red hair.
