Q: What is the speaker wattage for the 7.1? i bought this unit to replace my sony str-de685(100wx5) and it isn't as loud.

I am running 4 100 watt speakers plus 100 watt mid range and large sub woofer and I get plenty of volume, you may need to adjust each section individually which is very easy select front rear center or sub I am an old lady and this is better than my old RCA unit because of it's adjustability the only issue I have is there are not enough ports for all my accessories I have to play switch plugs for some of my units(cd changer, TV, Turntable and echo unit)
