I ordered this 3/8 Tow Hook / Winch Hook for Off-Road Recovery / Towing Shackle 33000 Lbs / G80 Heavy Duty Strength / Integrated Winch Quick Shackle (Red) so I would have the ability to accomplish "a quick connect," should the need arise. I like the idea that this "S-Hook" allows me to quickly complete a connection task, if need be, during the course of a tow or rescue operation. No stampings or markings on the S-hook that I could see; however, it does seem to be heavy-duty and well fabricated. Claimed to have working load and breaking capacities of 11,200lbs/33,000lbs respectively, I believe this S-hook is a nice piece of kit to have available for use and in with your tow/recovery equipment.

Well If You own a 4 x4 vehicle or ATV with a wench then this S hook made by AmBull might be a good investment.The S hook comes in a variety of different colors to choose from and has a very good powder coating of paint on it. It's made out of good solid steel and is approximately 4" W x 8 1/4" long so it should be plenty big enough in most circumstances.If you do a lot of 4 wheeling with your truck or Atv or just go out in the woods hunting there is always a good chance you might get stuck isn't that the reason you mounted that wench on your vehicle or ATV. Well with a good strap and this S hook you can find your shelf a good solid tree to hook to and pull yourself out of that ditch you slid in to or off something you got high centered on and now your wheels won't grab.In my opinion this is a good all around S hook that will last you a lifetime amd a smart thing to have with you if your going to be in places were you might get stuck all tell you one thing this hook is not going to bend or break it's built for 4 wheeling at it's best.I don't get off road as much as i used to but even when i go camping i usually get off road just to go get fire wood for camp and were i go you might not see another vehicle for days so if you get stuck you best have a way to get yourself out or you might be in for a very long walk and a terrible camping trip.So overall yes i would recommend this S hook by AmBull and I'm very happy with it, I think it's a smart thing to have if you own a wench on your vehicle or ATV.Thanks For Reading

This is an S shaped coupling tow hook. The coupler has an electro-galvanized orange paint job that resists corrosion and weather. The coupler has a hook on each of the two ends. Each hook has a spring action safety gate to help keep ropes and cables in place. The tow hooks are 3/8" and has a 3,300 lb rating. Use the coupler in a wide variety of winching, towing and recovery operations. The coupler is made from high quality G80 alloy metal.Would recommend this to anyone. .
