The product listing says the following: "Professional Strength Active 5-MTHF Form - 1mg - Capsules (10 Mg)" . After reading that we were confused whether a tablet contains 1 mg or 10 milligrams. That's not a huge difference, but the product also states "highly bioactive" in which case the difference between the 2 could be significant. This methylfolate is presented in 3 other strengths. We're pretty certain the tablets we received are 10 mg. That is clearly stated on the bottle. The seller does, however, need to edit and clarify their description.That said -the capsules are of average size, tasteless, and easy to swallow. We haven't noticed any untoward side effects. We haven't experienced any perceptible positive effects either. The listing mentions clinical effectiveness but the label does not provide links to a website or email address or even a complete physical address, if one wanted to get more information. A quick web search does not turn up anything either.

After years of struggling with several mental health disorders, I took the GeneSight test. In addition to discovering that almost every prescription medication I have tried in the past was not suitable for me based upon my genes, I also found that I have a MTHFR mutation that affects how my body metabolizes folic acid.My GeneSight report indicated that my mutation isn't serious enough to warrant my doctor writing a prescription for prescription grade methylfolate but I still wanted to supplement to see if I would have good results and alleviate the symptoms I've struggled with for decades. My doctor indicates that it could take up to 2 months for me to notice results but that I could safely implement this supplement into my diet without any side effects or health concerns.I dislike taking pills of any kind, but I find the larger caplets or tablets particularly unpleasant. I was impressed at how small these capsules are-smaller than a tab of Tylenol! They're super easy to swallow and have no odor or aftertaste.Each capsule contains 7.5 mg of L-Methylfolate. The recommended dosing on the bottle is 1 capsule per day. With 90 capsules in the bottle and three months of dosing, this makes this supplement very affordable, especially if I have noticeable benefit and want to continue use after I've used all 90 caplets. Much cheaper than the co-pays for many of the prescriptions I've tried that were actually poisoning me and providing no benefit, not to mention costly outpatient psychiatry visits. I can't wait to see if this supplement is beneficial for me because 20 years of expensive-and unhelpful- treatment has left me demoralized and deflated.I appreciate that this supplement is made in the USA and contains no binders, fillers, preservatives, gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, soy, artificial color, flavor or sweeteners. The capsules are non-GMO vegetarian capsules. The bottle arrived sealed for safety.

This supplement claims to enhance your mood, support cardiovascular health, provide cell support, and help your body in other ways, but I haven't noticed anything at all. I'm still the same old grumpy guy with the same cardiovascular health. My cells don't seem to be any different either. However, it appears that others believe that this supplement works for them, so who am I to doubt them? In any case, these capsules have zero taste and are easy to swallow, so if that's what you are looking for, you've found it here. I personally don't recommend them, but if you want to give them a chance, they are reasonably priced.

Good stuff! Our bodies need this as it helps with other vitamin absorption. I highly recommend this to anyone. Get it. Because you need it. Great value as well

As the title suggests, these arrived with the correct number in the bottle. The capsules were not stuck together, as some others have been. They are standard capsule size and easily swallowed. I don't keep them in my mouth long enough to taste them, so can't comment on that.As I don't own a laboratory, I can't attest to the accuracy of their claims of content. I also cannot tell you if they work at this time. It has not been long enough and frankly, each supplement will impact each person differently, so what works for me, might not work for you. It's best to approach the use of any new supplement, with an open unbiased mindset.I will report back only if I experience no effect or adverse effects.Bottom line, they are priced well for the quantity and perceived quality.

Correct count of 90 capsules. Capsules were easy to swallow. Even though it is a high dosage of methylfolate, it did not upset my stomach.
