On the turning plate for UV curing, do you need to remove the brown cover that comes on it or leave it on?

The brown paper should be removed, it is there to protect the glass (plexiglass?) turning plate during shipping. It is well-adhered, but if you can get under one edge, you should be able to pull it off in one go.

Can acetone be used as the cleaning liquid in this machine?

Acetone and fumes are so harsh I would advise against it. Personally, I use denatured alcohol and would recommend it for cleaning prints. Cleans prints in 2-3 minutes depending on print size.

Has anyone tried this product with other solutions besides ipa? would mean green cause issues ?

I tried Mean Green and it was an awful alternative to IPA. It does not evaporate completely like alcohol. You have to wash your models in water afterwards and it takes a lot of effort to get the slick (surfactant--will interfere with primer and paint) soapy residue off of the prints. Using soap makes a messy process even messier (and more laborious). I would strongly recommend against it. Others have issues with metal parts corroding from long-term exposure to it. Alcohol will not cause these metals to corrode.
