The 3m wire nuts are leaps and bounds above the rest. Sure Ideal tans or reds work fine in most situations. The 3ms rubber skirt gives a bit more coverage ensuring there is no bare copper exposed. They twist on and bite into the splices very easily. Once on they aren't going to loosen up and fall off. They are a little more expensive but we'll worth it in my opinion.

I've used a lot of wire nuts in the past, but prefer these to all others. They have a insulation portion where the wires exit that protects from longer then necessary wire stripped lengths. They go on well and securely.

Easy to use. Better than the other brands out there for connecting wires together. Have used them for years. Hard to find. Thank youVery good price. Covers all the connection area without having to tape it up.

Good quality , good price , they have a big range , like little skirt it has to protect the wires.
