My wife's Brazilian. We live here most of the time, but spend a few months in Brazil every year. When we're there, this is what we buy. Batata palia, it's called. It's kinda like Potato Stix, but more delicate - maybe half the width. I don't think it'd be too good to snack on, but it adds a salty crunch to a lot of Brazilian dishes - which is awesome. Yoki is a name brand for a lot of stuff like this in Brazil, and is known for its quality.
