This is fun but not indoors.
I've seen these used in countless YT videos where people of all ages chase each other round firing away.Personally I wouldn't use this blaster indoors for two reasons, you will break something and you will fire it too close to someone and it could end up being pretty painful.Take those points on board and this blaster is a lot of fun, especially in the dark. I would say that if you order one of these order a huge amount of 'bullets' at the same time because this is great fun to lay and if you leave the gun on auto mode it does get though the pellets pretty quickly. This is battery powered and makes the blaster very easy to use, firing very accurately over long distances. This is fun, get a couple and go outside and have a haugh.

Works well and comes nicely presented.
This seems pretty solid and nicely made. It comes with a load of pre 'hydrated' gel pellets installed in the hopper and a box of glow in the dark ones to use when you have used those. It is rechargeable but also takes to AAA batteries, not included, to illuminate the hopper. It shoots fast and while there is nothing on it to help you aim you can get quite accurate with it. The pellets basically explode into dust on impact and while they go fast I had one hit my hand and it wasn't painful at all as it just turns to dust on impact. You would want to avoid hitting people with it normally though and the set does come with a pair of safety glasses. This kit isn't cheap and while you do get nearly 6000 gel pellets with it I can see those being very quick to run though, especially if this is used on auto mode. I don't know if it has the play value of the price personally but as said, it seems nicely made and it does come very well presented.

Chargeable electric gel blaster with glow-in-the-dark gel bullets included
Is this fun, yes it is, does it work, yes, it comes with 5000 shells, you have to soak the gel bullets in water and then load them up and fire them.I thought it would be messy but actually they just disintegrate and kind of create a powdered mash when you finished. Not too messy and fine outside. The kit comes with glow-in-the-dark gel bullets (5000), 803 hydrated standard gel bullets to practice with and safety goggles (these are important for your eyesight safety), 2 barrels (orange low velocity, white high velocity) and of course a charging cable for the 4 hours factory play.I like the full auto mode but it does use up ammunition really quickly, it's got good range and pretty good accuracy, really easy to shoot with the electric power source and quite frankly, this is a lot of fun. Will be great for dark Halloween nights with the UV ammunition.Very impressed.

Very effective Gel gun, but on the expensive side.
The media could not be loaded. Gel Blaster Surge Starfire - High Performance Glow In The Dark Gel Ball Blaster | High-Capacity Semi & Automatic Modes | 5,800 Rounds | 30M Range | Ages 14+ £59.99Supplied with this model are two connectors/adapters which connect the bottle/hopper to the gun. The starfire connector which comes with the ‘glow in the dark’ pellet Gun illuminates the hopper and gel pellets and activates the luminosity of the glow in the dark pellets with its UV light (see photographs). This has an on/off switch and has to be supplied with two AAA dry cells (not supplied). The other connector is plain and simple and supplied with the standard Gel Blaster. The gun itself operates on a rechargeable battery and recharged via a USB Socket. The switch positions are [on single shot], [off], [on continuous fire]. An LED light at the bottom of the stock /grip on the left hand side lights up when the gun is switched on.If the gun is not going to be used much in the dark, then you can save £10 and opt for the ordinary Gel Blaster which is advertised on the product page for £49.99. The special illuminating connector can be purchased on its own, but I have not seen any on Amazon UK (Amazon.com item B0BH5CZ23R). The one I have seen was just under £25, so if you are thinking of buying a Gel Blaster with glow in the dark capabilities then the extra £10 is worth it.It is an awesome piece of kit and it will provide endless fun, but to keep safe, if other folk are around when the gun is being used they will need to be supplied with goggles.Price point – the Gel Blaster Guns are expensive compared to other gel guns sold on Amazon for half the price. For that reason one star is deducted.

Works really well. Really accurate. Really Fun. You don't want to get hit with one the Gels.
I have a similar item but it shoots manually a pellet per squeezing the trigger. This one is an 'auto shoot' at a rapid rate. Uses USB to 'recharge' power. I like this better than the manual one. Shoots the water filled "pellets" , but powerful, and you can feel the pellets hit, even through clothing. FYI_ if you shoot at someone in areas where no clothes like shorts, bare skin legs, it will leave a bigger 'sting' and marks on the skin that do fade after a day or so. It has a 'punch' to it if shooting at other people so caution to not shoot at someone's face. lol. I haven't determined battery life between each charge , but it's sturdy, fun and easy to use.
