I recently invested in a BETU weighted blanket, and I couldn't be more pleased. I've been looking for a solution to help me unwind and get a better night's sleep because I have anxiety and trouble falling asleep. This blanket provides the right amount of weight to encourage less tossing and turning. It isn't too hot. I've been able to fall asleep more quickly.

I got this to help soothe anxiety and with my sleep, and so far it’s been amazing.The fabric is soft to the touch without being slippery so if some of the weight is off the edge of the bed, it’s not hauling the whole thing off. It sits against other bedding nicely. I got the twin despite having a king bed so I could focus the weight and keep it on my side. I can also toss and turn on the bed enough that I can get out from under it without having to kick the covers off to get free.I was thinking I wanted to get a heavier weight before reading that it’s best to start at 10% of your body weight, so I was aiming for 15-20 lbs. I have some sensory sensitivities where lots of pressure helps when I’m overwhelmed, but I’m actually really happy with this 12lb. version. This suits me well for general use where heavier might have been used on an as-needed basis and not comfortable to keep on the bed every night.It’s really nice as a throw blanket while I’m reading or chilling on the couch. I feel more grounded and anchored in my relaxation, it’s some weird but tangible difference in how I exist under the even weight. I’m less aware of the textures of fabric on my skin, fleece or soft fuzzy blankets are cozy and feel nice but pressure does cozy in a way texture doesn’t and I’m realizing that now. When I’m overwhelmed, I fold the blanket to stack more weight in certain areas, so I don’t miss having a few extra pounds overall.

The blanket is perfect as for the weight. I went down one level on the weight than what it called for. Very warm and comforting. The reason for 4 stars is because of the width, it just covers the top of the bed, with no overhang.

Although this is smaller than anticipated, it gets the job done! Helps you stay warm, it’s heavy, but not overwhelming. Nice to snuggle up in.

My 7-year-old has a very hard time staying asleep during the night. More often than not she is waking up and then waking us up. Now no one is sleeping. She calms down with pressure on her body, like a tight hug. This blanket has been a sleepsaver for her and for us. Under the weight of the blanket she feels safe and content. She does get a little warm under the blanket but she likes to be warm for anyone who has a child that gives you a hard time about going to bed and staying in bed. This blanket is a must. You only have to gain some wonderful sleep and a less cranky kid the next morning. ACRK

Wasn’t sure how well I’d like this since I don’t like to feel trapped, especially on my legs. But since having restless legs for so long, I thought it’d be worth a try. So glad I got this. It’s a little heavy to turn from side to side, but still capable to do. Only once I’ve had to use another blanket on top to keep warm, guess that’s what happens when you sleep with a window open in the winter time, but otherwise I stay warm enough with just this blanket.

Didn’t include the duvet cover so had to return. Return was easy. If don’t need the cover it seemed like a good quality blanket. Material was soft and the quality appeared good.

Not to hot. Nice n heavy. Instant zzzzzzzzzzzz. And when I have to get up to do that 'thing' I return and get to sleep quick.

Such a comfort and I don’t find it too hot, which I thought it might be.

The fabric is soft. I was worried it'd be scratchy like other cheap blankets I've gotten. Not the case.My complaint is some of the squares don't have any weighted beads in it at all, so the weight is inconsistent.I am happy with my purchase though as I needed something cheap and quick for my anxiety. I would order it again.
