Needs weight to reduce blowing away
I wish there was some attached weight on the edges instead of having to weigh it down with rocks or something else to keep it from blowing in the wind. Some weighted plastic beads like those in weighted blankets sewn in the edge would be perfect, and I may try to rig it with something similar so I don’t have to find heavy rocks for the corners or water jugs. I used it for my stairs during an ice storm and had no issues with the area which was covered. The wind kicked up the edges that were not held down, which was frustrating and made me worry that it would blow away. Otherwise, worked like a charm during the recent polar vortex.

WHAT A waste of my time and effort dealing with these!
The ropes on the side were stitched in so random and mostly unusable it was a crying shame for anyone to get paid to stitch these in the first place. The edges were cut all frayed jagged nothing is hemmed its like someone took a very dull pair of scissors sliced a squarish piece of latex hardened dried out fabric and failed miserably attaching ropes to it. Just laying it flat on a not a stone in sight not a stick or anything on the site that would have caused these tarp to crease and the fabric to literally crackle told me that this fabric is so dried out and worthless, its a vendor that needs to be stopped from shipping to Amazon customers.

Trust me, lol
I give this rough cut piece of cloth with strings attached 5 stars for selling me on the idea I needed it. Its a heavy duty cloth almost canvas. it will do what its supposed to do cover some steps so you just shake it off and the snow is gone. But any rug will do the same, Im using it to cover my windshield instead.

Love it!
Bought two blankets Dec 2016 and I religiously use them at every threat of snow and ice! At the end of the storm, I just lift! Saves time and money (don’t need to salt where I can use these). Not needing salt may also extend the life of my walkway!
