Consistent quality.

This is a popular yarn color and I had a hard time finding enough of it for my next project. I’m so glad I was able to find it. I love it and though it’s not is the same runs it is close enough that no one will know.

When I first saw the Caron Cake yarns, I fell in love with them. The colors were great, blended beautifully. It set me to start making six blankets for Christmas, six grandkids. Three of the blankets are made with double yarn, using the variegated Caron yarn along with a solid Heart color. The three others were just the Caron yarn. The three Caron Cake blankets are my smaller blankets for the baby and toddlers. The issue that I kept running into was that the yarn would be tied together in several places throughout the skein. In a few of the skeins it was what I would think of as normal. Perhaps two or three times if necessary. However I found that several of the skeins were tied together seven or eight times. Some knots were very close together. I am not a fan of having to hide, or trying to hide, a bunch of knots in my blankets. When you work so hard on something for someone you love, you want it to be beautiful. Overall, I love the yarn, it was easy to work with (when my puppy didn’t get ahold of the skein!), and the finished result is beautiful.

I used this yarn to make my first cardigan ever, and I have gotten so many complements on it!

I made a beautiful baby blanket. It was very nice to crochet with and is very soft. I like it very much and will be ordering more.

Ich hatte die Wolle von Caron Cake im Internet gesehen. Ich habe sie hier gefunden, der Preis ist sicher kein Schnäppchen aber die Farben sind sehr schön. Ich kaufe sicher noch andere Farben. Sie kratz so gut wie überhaupt nicht. Prima.

Laine à priori de bonne qualité, je regrette juste que les changements de couleurs soit trop brut et avec des petits noeuds.

Die Wolle ist ihren Preis wert. Super Qualität. Die Verarbeitung macht Spaß. Ich werde sie zu einer Regenbogendecke verarbeiten. Weiterempfehlung 100%.
