Does the job well.
I should have bought one a long time ago! Fed up with my little kitchen steaming up and everything getting wet just from boiling pans. This thing takes 90% of the steam away. I’m very impressed.

Does the job it claims to.
Why did you choose this product over others?: Yes, it's expensive, but it does the job well. Reduces that greasy smell and smoke. Not easy to get the angle right but I have it on top of my microwave next to my fryer and it works OK.

Doesn't work
This product is nothing like what was advertised. It doesn’t work at all. Complete waste of money.”

Portable and powerful little extractor unit
Ideal for modern kitchens - I use it beside my hob and then pick it up and move it next to my air fryer or multi cooker (I stand it on a small box to make sure it is the correct height above the air fryer). It works perfectly and you can see the steam being pulled in. Quieter than my old, massive, cooker hood and the best part is when finished I just unplug and pop into the cupboard next to the cooker. Very happy with it. It comes with a spare filter grill but I bought a spare full filter kit when I purchased it, haven't needed either yet but like too be prepared. Great little extractor and an excellent price.

Worth the purchase.
Had this for a while now and it's still going strong.

Cost of Consumables!
Note that the mini "extractor" works by fanning the steam from cooking over three layers of filter - one of which is a very thin disc of activated charcoal which becomes laden with cooking smells and has to be changed regularly. Replacements seem to be only available from Ciarra and cost £10 for three. The middle disc in the photo is the activated charcoal filter which has to be replaced regularly. The other two layers of filtration are reusable and the product is well designed for access to wash them. However the main fan in enclosed and cannot be washed and all the cooking steam passes through the body of the "extractor". Some residual cooking smell will be deposited on the interior of the product over time. The product came with two spare nylon filters - the left disc in the photo - but this is not the one that needs changing and can be washed. There is no mention in the manual of the need to change this filter layer, just how to clean it. As with any unvented kitchen "extractor", this mini version is designed to "extract" by filtration, not actual extraction, so the effectiveness is dependent on regularly washing the reusable filters and replacing the consumable charcoal filter - so it looks like it could be expensive to use. It is also quite noisy, especially at the the higher speed.

Nice Gadget works really well for a limited time
Ordered before xmas and was working really well on my hob, 2 settings but mostly used the higher setting and very easy to use and does a decent job. However I've had to return it as the on/off button stopped working 2 weeks after 1st use, started coming back on by itself after being switched off, then packed up altogether. Would have liked a replacement but only offered a refund. Not sure whether or not to try purchasing another one ?

Dont buy it, it doesn’t do anything. There is no teal carbon filter, or any other real filter.

It stopped working after 2 days. Very disappointed

I have a small apartment and needed a solution for ventilation. I was hesitant to order one of these, not a regular one, but since I don’t have the system for it, I gave it a try and I didn’t regret my decision. I have it since last year and it works great as you can see on the video. Two option to change intensity, but even the lower sucks the steam in nicely. The water container is easy to clean. Packaging was pretty and they sent an extra filter too. Highest option is a bit loud, but not louder than a regular cook hood, it’s not bothering. I like the design too! I’m happy with the order! Thank you!
