The name brand varnish is exceptional. The problem is the price being so high and the seller keeps sending me another brand in place of what i ordered. Has happened twice, be careful when purchasing this on Amazon.

Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to how many ounces you’re getting. I paid almost $25 for a tiny bottle (RIDICULOUSLY SMALL)I was expecting it to be a pint.

I bought this to varnish over some handcrafted coasters. I am hoping that they are heat proof. Nice small jar because you don't need to use much.

Perfect for my project, seals it perfectly, it might be expensive compared to others but it does the job excellently

High build. Great for decoupage.

I'm unable to answer on the durability or the heat resistance as I can't tell at the moment, but it looks like you need quite a few coats of it which for me makes it quite an expensive buy, for all the coasters I make. I will update the review when my work on them is complete.

Be very careful to check what size tub you are ordering. I was expecting a normal sized varnish tin, and ended up with something roughly the size of a thimble. My own fault for not reading the small print, but I wouldn’t bother again.
