This is a heavy duty shelf .I was very pleased with the quality .The box was in very rough shape when it arrived. The top shelf had damage to the corner. I was lucky I put it in the back against the sofa. You can see it but who is looking.😜

I'll start by saying that this console table is super cute, current, and perfect for narrow spaces. I was also very happy to find a table like this one that allows it to go right over our floor vent, which was an issue with so many other console tables that we had considered. I'm very satisfied with its look and how useful it is for not cluttering our high-traffic small hallway. However, there are some cons that are worth mentioning. First, while it arrived intact with no evidence of rough handling, we later discovered that some of the legs were a little gouged up and used looking. This was directly due to the lower quality of materials making up the legs and support bars. Although I wouldn't say it's terrible quality, it's not great either. If we weren't able to arrange the misshapen and less cosmetic portions of the leg bars and supports so they're hidden on the inside and back side, I'd be giving this product a lower rating, especially at this price. Luckily, it's not obvious with the way we assembled it. It also came with too many of certain sized bolts and not enough washers, so we had to mix and match to make it work. It's not exactly shaky, but I wouldn't trust a favorite vase on top of it either. So while I was slightly disappointed in some things about this table, the wood table top is very pretty, and if you don't examine the metal bars too closely, it's a nice looking table and a very functional piece.
