OtterBox Defender Case for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Shockproof, Drop Proof, Ultra-Rugged, Protective Case, 5x Tested to Military Standard, Black, Non-Retail Packaging

After over 6 months, knocks and scrapes, being an engineer, I can definitely say it's a great case, snug yet easy to fit, well manufactured, sturdy and robust, the phone is alot of money so why go cheap on the case, pay abit more, when the phone is damaged by a case that is ten pound cheaper, there is no going back, that's your choice - that's your result, While your at it screen and camera glass, is a good idea, I paid in total £55,glasses and case, sounds alot? Well the phone is at least thirty times that, Just buy amongst the best, this definitely is, my cases get dropped and the hart stopping moment it drops and the associated sound, I know it's going to be fine, scratches on the case depending upon where it fell, unfinished cement for example, Just buy it, your phone and pocket shall thank you,,

Finally, a phone case that survives life — so I don’t have to. I got this OtterBox Defender because my phone has a habit of falling off vans, slipping out of greasy mitts, or taking unplanned skydives whenever I’m under a sink or chasing a leaky pipe (you know, plumbing engineer life). Since putting it on, I half expect the screen to give me a grateful wink every time I pick it up. This case is built like a fortress. The multi-layer design — hard inner shell + rubber outer shell — means that if you drop your phone now, it's not a “Oh dear!” moment, it’s more “Is that all you’ve got?” The corner protection, port covers and rugged grip make it feel like even a toddler or a fired-up dog would struggle to do damage. It also grips dead nice. No more phone sliding off the dash of the van when I brake, no more pockets that look like they’re auditioning for a slipper-hole. Once it’s clipped on, it stays… steady. That said — this thing adds bulk. My slick phone turned into a chunky little tank. It feels safe, but you won’t be sliding it into skinny jeans or a tight pocket any time soon. So, if you’re as clumsy, rough-and-ready, or “me and the van life” as I am and want your phone to survive job sites, drops, grime, and occasional rain — this case is gold. Five stars. Strong, grippy, and gives your phone the survival instincts of a rugged old van.

The OTTERBOX DEFENDER: By far the best phone case on the market, if you don't mind a smartphone that weighs the best part of a two year old child and is capable of cracking concrete paving slabs if you do accidentally drop one. Yeah they're essentially as tough as old boots! Pro's: The included belt clip accommodates the phone either facing in to protect the screen from impacts and when facing outwards the belt clips locks out to form a handy 360° rotating stand. The case it made from a hard plastic inner frame that hugs the phone and an outer rubber case that fits very cleanly in recesses around the plastic inner frame, to form a dust and splash proof fit. Very thick rubber all around the screen means very little chance of direct impacts. Con's: The weight of the smartphone in a Defender case is quite cumbersome to carry in a bag or pocket, although it does fit comfortably and securely attaches to the belt clip. The case once on is not the kind of case to frequently swap, it's definitely more suited to permanently protecting your device in a working environment where unintentional damage is common. Conclusion: I gave my S21 Ultra (in a Defender) to a frail old friend and says she doesn't mind the extra weight for the confidence it gives her when holding a large phone in small hands. Predominantly because the rubber outer case makes gripping it a lot easier.

Good quality BUT less than one year and stretch out corners and will be soft rugged cover outside!

Good case, using them for many years,not cheap but reliable, only thing which happens with all of them, the rubber cover for the charging port falls off after about 18 months, but I don't mind that

These are brilliant cases, I have dropped my phone many times with no external damage.... with one exception. First the plus points. The holster and quick release is brilliant excluding the exception. It feels snug and secure when I am using it and the phone is still good to use when it's not in the holster. Wireless charging still works despite the chunky protective case, although you will not always get wireless fast charging (not surprisingly) - that was not a deal breaker for me. BUT - If you are a heavy user of your phone, then you will quickly find that the retaining clips that hold your S24 Ultra in it's holster (not sure about other models) will give up in around 3 to 4 months. This makes it a complete pain in the S-Pen to try and get a return to your favourite online retailer and Otterbox Warranty exclusions mean that you need to come back here to claim. I have gone through 4 cases by way of damage since getting the phone on release day January 2023. What I do is use turn the phone the other way when one clip breaks, until the other one does too. I can not live without the holster, so I have simply been buying replacements which at around £40 can get pricey. Even at £80 a year though, it's a cost I can justify in my use case. I previously used the same Otterbox solution for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and the cases then lasted about a year before needing replacement.

Good case fits well not stress tested yet but im sure or hope it will hold up

Solid 5 star rating. Otterbox phone cases are great as it keeps your phone protected. We all know the prices of new phones are outrageous so if you're investing that much money in the phone, invest a little more for a good phone case. The build is strong, it's easy to place around your phone and the fit is nice and secure. This brand is a bit pricy compared to what you'll find from off brand names, but it's worth the money. I would recommend it. I buy this brand if at all possible.

This is NOT an Otterbox case. It arrived in a small plastic bag with a similar logo that says OTTER BUSINESS. this is a cheap knockoff. Don't waste your money.
