Well made and sturdy. They also included very important installation info because it does seem like there's a defect in the gate opening and, wisely, they include a tag that tells you it not closing will be resolved when the gate is installed properly. This was great because I did think it was defective when I saw that.Also, while you might think your walls and floors have a perfectly straight line from one side where you're installing to the other, be sure the let the gate tell you what straight is, not size (68.11 - 70.87) can definitely be installed by one person.Only criticism is that the stabilizers on the bottom could be a little longer.

It only took us thirty minutes to put together and install. The instructions gave us headaches so we just figured it out on our own. I still give it four stars because it's sturdy enough, and it serves it's purpose which is to keep our baby safe. The size is also a plus! There were very few options for gates with this length (84 + inches).

We loved that this gate came with the size we needed. We have a large area we needed to gate off to keep our special needs child out of the kitchen. This gate has held up very well. If any company would like to get things tested to see if they will hold up, my daughter will let you know:) She is capable of breaking anything, so we knew if this gate held up it’s a good one. We’ve had to adjust with putting 2x4s along our woodwork and drilling holes to keep the gate secure and tight so she can’t knock it down but otherwise until yesterday (I think we’ve had it for 2yrs now) she hasn’t broken anything off of it. She broke the gate piece off so we will some how have to replace the gate door part but this has been a huge blessing to keep our sweet girl safe.

Wasn’t sturdy at all. Couldn’t open the gate either. Would never buy from this company again! Such a hassle to put up then have to take it down and return it. I think it was at someone’s else’s house because some of the pieces were already put together!!DONT BUY THIS GATE!

We needed to fence off a 61" wide opening to keep our two medium-sized dogs out of our living room. This gate appealed to me because it can be installed without screwing it into the wall, i.e., it's pressure-mounted. I was very pleased with the overall construction. It's sturdy and made of quality material with a nice finish. The assembly was straight-forward and mounting didn't require any tools since the hardware has knurled knobs for making the final adjustments. The seller included some additional, larger wall protectors for free that help minimize the potential for impressions and marks on the walls. The latch is easy to operate, and the gate auto closes unless you intentionally move it to the full propped open position. Once installed, the overall assembly is stout enough to contain our sometimes very excitable furry friends. My one negative is the design of the attachment for the extensions that were necessary for this gate to span 61 inches. They simply push on guided by 2 pins, which is easy enough, but there is nothing to affix them to the center gate. Although this works fine once the gate is installed, it makes it very difficult for one person to lift and install the gate while trying to keep the extensions on the pins. Unless you have 4 hands, you will need a helper to do the installation when using the extensions. If the manufacturer had included a method to fasten the extensions to the center gate, I would have given this 5 stars.

When we widened our doorway into the family room, the gate we had before wouldn't work. Now we needed a barrier that was six feet wide. I looked for one that didn't have to be anchored into my walls, yet was large enough and sturdy enough to contain my dogs when they lean on it. This gate was perfect. Easy to open with one hand. The dogs and their toys stay in the family room, although there is enough space between the bars that my dogs can drop their small balls into the dining room and cry until I throw them back. (This is their favorite game).

One of the sticky pieces you stick to the floor to keep it from moving came broken. This gate is a pain to put together.

The package was missing and part and instructions are not useful.

Got this to keep my Corgi out of the garden when we're running the sprinkler. Assembled and installed it myself (I am normally very bad at this type of thing!) Looks beautiful, so much better than plastic! So easy to use (no more stepping over gates) and self-closing! I know there are already a ton of great reviews, but I love this so much I wanted to add mine.When assembling make sure you've tightened the installation knobs enough that the little red semi-circle by the gate mechanism can't be seen. After being used all day, the red semi-circle starts to reappear, so we hand tighten the knobs once a day and the latch mechanism works perfectly

I’m confused. The gates themselves are great. But I thought extensions came with them? Where can we get extensions?

I ordered one of these gates and it was too big. Also it was missing the metal dowels that hold it together. Then I ordered the next size below and it is too small. The gate is suppose to come with different attachments and it doesn't. It's like the pack these packages with just whatever pieces happen to end up in the box. I wouldn't buy another one and I am returning these ones.
