JL AUDIO CP212G W0 V3

This is visceral kind of bass you feell in your bones, lungs and belly without the loudness in the ears. I almost got it here on Amazon but then my car radio dealer installed it for me so I ended paying much more than the Amazon price. So this Amazon price is a good deal. JL CP212 is equivalent or even better than subs that cost three times as much!! Yes, go figure! The carpeting looks neat and lovely. The logo and the writings that you see on the box is not printed... it is embroidered. That kind of attention to detail extends into the inside of the box where the port is well constructed to keep the bass not only visceral but also quite musical when needed. The driver I am told does not get hot and is durable for this price point. The port is not just holes... but a well designed internal structure that ends in a slot. JL did not publish the frequency that this is tuned to but I am guessing 35Hz. If your car is not bolted together nicely, it will rip your car apart :) Really this is a wonderful sub. If you want anything better, then you have to spend 4 to 5 times as much as this one!! Thanks for reading.
