E&B Lab, by IMS Competition Moka filter (6 Cup)

For all you coffee heads out there with a New Venus 4 cup mocha pot. Yes it can use the 3 cup competition filter. It fits very nicely and works perfectly. I went over my caffeine limit just to check it out. Serious coffee quality improvement. I can't recommend this competition filter ENOUGH. Don't miss out on superb coffee flavor. Highly recommended.

High quality, inexpensive upgrade for your moka pot. Easy to replace your old filter and fits like it, no leakage. Taste is like if I had an aeropress filter in there. Works well!

OMG this thing is a game changer and I love it! The flavor of my coffee has improved dramatically. It creates fruity notes not experienced before and reduces coffee grounds coming through by at least 80%. Crazy expensive for what it is but it's worth it for the excellent results. Snug fit into my 4 cup Venus. Definitely a buy.

This metal filter is well-made, and the holes are much smaller than the filter that comes with your mocha pot. I feel like it keeps the grounds in the basket where they belong and not in your coffee My only complaint is that the silicone gasket is a little bit big and it’s hard to push it down into the threads. Once you get it in and you pushed it down every inch of it with your finger it fits well. if it was a smidge smaller, it would drop right into place like the one it came with.

While I received the E&B 6-cup Moka pot and this extra filter of theirs on the same day, I left the E&B in its box and tried the filter in my Alessi Moka Pot designed by David Chipperfield. I just wanted to report it fit in the Alessi pot perfectly, but I did have to press all the way around with my thumb to get it to fully seat properly (then I screwed the two pot pieces together tight to make sure it was fully in. When I used ti I can report back that this filter from E&B does indeed improve the flavor of moka pot coffee. Overall the coffee was lacking a slight harshness inherent in Bialetti, and it was perhaps also slightly less syrupy -- all of which I considered an improvement. I only use a moka pot occasionally when I want to make a cafe au lait in a bowl (since I got tired of descaling and cleaning my espresso machine after nearly 20 years). This works well, and I assume since I can get it to work in the David Chipperfield-designed Alessi moka pot, it will also work in ANY Alessi moka pot (since I believe they share gaskets/filter plate dimensions). I haven't tried it in my Bialetti yet.

Perfect fit for the Bialetti Moka Express 3-cup. The original Bialetti filter was not bad, it's just that this one by EB Lab is better. Less grit at the bottom of the poured cup. There is still a bit of fine sediment at the bottom of the cup when I'm at the last sip. I can deal with that. Made in Italy!

I installed the 3 cup filter in my 20 y/o Brikka using the same coffee and grind parameters used for a month. The result is more balanced, richer and creamier taste. My Brikka is like a whole different device for a very reasonable price.

I replaced my original Moca Pot's filter, and I prefer these ones. Works really well.

I got a induction bialetti venus, 6 cups, it fits perfectly also with the rubber gasket. 1:1 replacement. For good mokka technique i can recommend the james hoffman videos about mokka. Now i obviously had to brew two times one with the standard filter and then with the e&b one. Both times i used the technique from james and the same cofee of course with airopress filter paper. Does it make better cofee ? YES. How much better ? 30-50% i woud say. More details: - Less bitterness at the end - More cleaner body - Smoother mouthfeel Its a next level cofee experiance.

Co prawda jest w cenie samej kawiarki ale sitko naprawdę dobrze leży i swietnie filtruje.

Es un filtro que marca una clara diferencia; es compatible con Bialetti de 6 tazas. Ha marcado un antes y un después. Recordatorio de que también hay que saber preparar correctamente el café y añadir que es importante también el molido, no querrás un café muy molido si quieres aprovechar este filtro al máximo. Ha merecido la pena, quizás comprarse la cafetera de E&B hubiese sido incluso mejor opción.

Lo sto usando da circa una settimana e sono decisamente soddisfatto, fa quello promette. Gusto della tazzina notevolmente migliorato e zero residui. Unica nota negativa forse il prezzo, se avete una moka vecchia conviene valutare l'acquisto della moka E&B Lab che ha già incluso questo filtro. Per il restro assolutamente consigliato.
