Just purchased this and have used it twice so far. First use was test use and wasnt very long. Second time was a recording that lasted about 2 and half hours. It worked great with my share sm57 which isn't loud enough at full gain from presonus studio 26c interface. With the phantom power on and this thing in line I went from 100 gain and still low volume without it to 75% gain on interface and very clean loud audio. I have not noticed any interference or noise from unit. After 2 and half hours it wasnt hot and worked great. Very clean loud audio from this little product. If this changes with weekly use I will update.

Only get phantom power with xlr not xlr to 1/4 from output. I didn’t know and my mic came with the xlr to 1/4 inch. Make sure you have enough xlr cables (2)

We purchased this to get more volume out of a Shure mic that was too quiet for our PA system, and wow this did the trick. We now get excellent volume from the mic without any speaker hiss. Fantastic, low-cost way to boost the volume coming from a microphone. 10/10 would recommend.
