Polyamines, including Spermidine, play an essential role in intermediate metabolism. Since they are synthesised by higher eukaryotic cells, they are not vitamins. However, the levels of polyamines are profoundly influenced by their external supply, either by oral ingestion of different food items or by the intestinal microbiota that can synthesise polyamines as well. The molecular and cellular mechanisms through which Spermidine delays age-related disease and death have been somewhat elucidated. The inhibition of EP300 by Spermidine (which competes with the acetyl group donor acetyl coenzyme A) stimulates autophagy [9]. Autophagy is required for the anti-ageing effect of Spermidine. Autophagy is a central mechanism of cellular adaptation to stress and the most important pathway for the turnover of cytoplasmic structures, including whole organelles, thus facilitating the rejuvenation of essential portions of the cell. For this reason, autophagy has a vast anti-ageing potential to the point that most, if not all, behavioural, nutritional, pharmacological or genetic manipulations that extend longevity require autophagy to be efficient. Until now, the literature on the longevity-enhancing effects of Spermidine has been limited to model organisms. Now, two prospective population-based studies (summarised in the same paper) report for the first time that nutritional spermidine uptake is also linked to reduced overall cardiovascular and cancer-related mortality in humans. As an alternative, yet non-exclusive mechanism, the natural EP300 inhibitor spermidine and its pharmacological equivalent, aspirin, may both act on different yet distinct cell types, including stem cell compartments and differentiated cells engaged in cardiovascular function (cardiac muscle cells, endothelial cells, pericytes, small vessel myocytes…), anti-cancer immune surveillance (cancer and immune cells) or neurodegeneration (neuronal and glial cells) to reduce the incidence of the major age-related diseases. I have been supplementing with Spermidine for several months due to its exceptional (researched) effects. Moreover, Charava supplements are premium, proven by the ingredient`s purity and price. The other supplement I was taking was very pricey and smelled terrible. SPermiding, for me, smells disgusting. It may be personal, but I cannot tolerate the smell. Nonetheless, it is a great supplement that I will gladly continue taking while holding my breath!

Taking it in capsule form eases it slightly but you'll still taste it as it goes down if you don't overpower the flavour right away. And it smells exactly like it sounds... I'm trying to be discreet here! All I can say, fellas, is if your lady enjoys these, marry her. You get 30 capsules in the bottle, and the directions say to take 1 a day, so this one bottle will last you a month. At £29.99 per month, it's very expensive but, in fairness, less so than other Spermidine supplements. When you consider its myriad health benefits, though, it's probably worth every penny.

Product have godo ingredients and seams to be good quality. However on pack is not enough to say in 100% how good effect it's giving. I can just say that it did give me any side effects and it was easy to take

I’m impressed with the write up. Seems to have been thoroughly researched and good ingredients. Everyone wants to remain looking youthful and young so any help is worthwhile. Price is comparable to other supplements and they’re small and easy to swallow with no after taste.
