18 MONTH UPDATE: Great product, good price. Seems to be well made.
Seems to be great quality. Installed on a '91 Crown Vic to replace Sylvania Silver Stars. Low beams have a nice cut off line and brights are well aimed and stupid bright. Color is pretty clean; a slight blue tint but nowhere near obnoxious blue/purple. Overall, good price for a great product (assuming they last well.) Wiring harness had to be moved around a bit but nothing terribly complicated. Update: Phenomenal customer service!! Very quick to answer and they get you taken care of. After 18 months with these lights on a daily driver, I would purchase them again in a heartbeat. Very bright, great quality, no issues with fogging or condensation. The plastic lenses are less resistant to abrasion (obviously) but are thick enough to repel chip-seal/gravel better than the OEM glass sealed beams. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer an option with an integrated heater in the lens. These are great lights and at $25 each, they are astronomically better than even the highest performance halogen sealed beams (which are $20+ and burn out in a few months based on my experience.)

Super easy to install. New wire harnesses sent with the lights. Only took about 15 mins from start to finish. There ain’t directions, so jus plug in the new wire harness into the new led lights, then “mix n’ match” the other end of the light until u find the right way. I’m makin it sound harder than it really is. Believe me tho, it is really easy and they look awesome. And SUPER bright at night too!! I’ll update this if they ever get condensation or quit working or anything crazy like that. As long as this post ain’t been updated, that means the light are still working great and are still WELL worth the money!!

Install on Freightliner FLD120
I installed these lights on a 94 Freightliner FLD120. The over all look of the lights are great. These are way better than stock, the high beams are great, the low beams are not as great compared to the high beams but they are better than stock lights. The low beam is somewhat cloudy looking on some surfaces and others it is great. The cutoff line is good haven't had anyone complain about them. The install was simple the lights came with a adapter harness. I pulled my factory headlights out, took a test light and checked to determine which wire operated low beam and high beam (on my truck the key had to be on to activate the high beams). After I determined the black was low beam, red was high beam and green was ground. I plug in the adapter according to the picture on Amazon because the lights didn't come with a wiring diagram (yellow low beam, red high beam, black ground). In the high beam headlight there are only two wires one for high beam and one for ground (on my truck the outside light was low and the inside lights are high). I removed the yellow wire from the adapter with a small pick because there was no need for it on the high beam side (see pictures). I taped the connections because the adapter pins stick out a little. After that you can wire your DLR I decided to splice a wire into the parking lights and use that for the DLR, you can power the DLR however you decide it's not important it is just for looks.

Definitely Not Plug & Play
The first thing I noticed was that these units were delivered in what looked to be their white internal boxes. There should have been an outer shipping box or some sort of a themed box containing them rather than only the cardboard Amazon shipping container. Or, possibly they are purchased in bulk? Don't expect any instructions or unit identification. I scratched my head a bit because I thought that there would be a definite high and low beam module. There was not. Both units are apparently the same and produce a high or a low beam depending upon how you wire them. They have wiring adapters included with them which you will probably need. I had to fool around with my wiring a bit to get them to work. Low beam is the middle light only, high beam is the entire unit energized. They will also not quite fit correctly into your existing light buckets as the ears on the corners are a bit longer than the normal sealed beam headlights you are probably replacing. Longer screws are the ticket to get the bezels to catch. Once installed they do the job. They are nice and bright and, if you want different patterns for your high and low beam you don't have to wire them as suggested. For instance if you want your low beam light to come on as a complete rather than just the centers you can do that. One interesting thing however, the running light halos do not come on unless you wire them separately, using the red wire, to your parking lights or whatever else you are going to use to energize them. Essentially, these lights are somewhat of a PITA to install but once in they work fine. With some minimal instructions and a bit of modification to their shells they would definitely be much easier to install.

Great visibilty!
*****I searched through many of the Amazon listings, this was a great choice. Well made lights, easy installation! Although not plug and play for my situation. With the included adapter, wiring was simple enough. Suggestion, if running quad headlights, we ran wiring to run all 4 on low beam. I have had NO negative responses when running all 4 on low beam. High beams are unbelievable. Previously ran factory halogens, and with running a semi truck on dark back roads, viability was very poor. These definitely light up the night sky! I just returned from a 3 week run.....questions/comments by many other truckers. They could not believe how bright and wide the projection of lights were. Great purchase for the money. Thank you SPL Lights :-)
