First off I have To say I am a fan of Terry Naturally products. They are science and fact based research proven, not just the latest fad on Dr. Oz. You can find the studies on the Terry Naturally website, separate from their sales site. I am an RN by trade, but this is merely my opinion not medical advice. I have just started following with an endocrinologist. I’m in early menopause, I have several chronic health problems such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. The past year or so I have been SO fatigued, my antidepressants not working nearly as well as before- even had to have them increased, everything seemed like SUCH an effort!! My normally cheery optimistic self was happy just getting though the day. Just from my mirror medical knowledge I have a feeling I have Hashimoto’s syndrome. But I also am a caregiver I have a son with a chronic illness which makes getting to my tests and labs that my doctors need to diagnose me that much harder. I felt rather hopeless until I came across an article listing all the signs and symptoms of Hashimoto’s. Finally I felt like someone understood what I was going through that there could be an answer. As soon as I got my lab work done I ordered a bottle of this, I actually needed more labs done but went ahead and started taking this anyway thinking it’s probably going to throw off my labs for my endocrinologist and he’ll think I have no problem but I was desperate at the time for anything to give me some energy or more optimism in my life. Low and behold by day two of taking it I had energy I hadn’t seen in close to a year. It wasn’t the end All, cure all be all, but my optimism and cherry disposition has come back. It is helping me stay positive and on track to finding out what I need to completely deal with my doctor in order to fix the problem. It has made the process possible. I was amazed at the difference I felt after taking this. After a few days I was taking two in the morning. I had read another review were stating that she took two in the morning and one towards noon and I decided to try this. I no longer need a nap in the afternoon. I can actually get things done today. I can actually make it to my medical test that I need to go to. And to take care of my son. Now I’m sure this isn’t for everyone, I was skeptical as well being in the medical field I’m skeptical by nature. But I was amazed at this product. So if you find yourself in a similar boat that I was in, do a little research and think about it, it was definitely worth $18 to me. And I am ordering my second bottle today. The most important thing to realize about this compared to some of the other products is the absorbable nature of the ingredients in this product and the studies that have been done. They are not the equivalent to any other product on the market these are some of the most absorbable kinds and formulations through research. So you may find something a few dollars cheaper but in the long run you get what you pay for.

This is a kind of revolutionary supplement. You'll see the iodine and iodide levels are thru the roof, but that's because the info that says we should only take a couple mcg' s of iodine per day is wrong. Other more common substances fill receptor sites on our thyroid and inhibit the uptake of necessary iodine into our system (I'm paraphrasing the book "Reverse Thyroid Disease Naturally"). Fluoride, bromine, etc clog our thyroid and starves us of much needed iodine and iodide. Anyway this product has A LOT of iodine to nourish the thyroid and helps (me) with energy, hair growth and skin. Who knew? Very few!
