Why did you pick this product vs others?: Sticks well despite some reviews to the contrary. Added to a grab bar that has a powdercoat finish that is to slippery. This product fixed the issue and has held firm for months in a bathroom with a shower. I even have half a roll left over in my toolbox for when the need arises again. Satisfied with this purchase.

OK, this is off-label usage. I had metal "Black Pipe" support for a shelf exposed, and I was concerned that it would damage the wood finish of a surround speaker. So, I wrapped the exposed knuckle of the pipe with a couple of layers of this silicone tape wrap. It worked slick. The thickness of the tape provides enough padding that the speaker won't be damaged if it is tied to the support arm. The tape conforms to all the curves and recesses of the knuckle and almost disappears. The tape can be removed easily if needed.

Great for awhile, then not so much.

Worked as expected, seems like good quality. I placed it on steering wheel of new pickup for a larger, softer grip and also to help from wearing th surface of steering wheel where I always hold it

Good tape! I wish I had known that once the tape is overlapped and adhered on itself it is not removable. So make sure your first application is how to want it to look. Other than that, looks pretty good, functions as described and has just enough grip on my Olympic bar for deadlift.

This stuff is like magic. I used it on my gym equipments including my pull up bars at home and some tools. It sticks only to itself and provides a great non-slip grip. No mess.

I used this tape on my hiking staff and when applied according to the instructions it really holds tight and holds up very well under use. Really nice grip under the hot Florida sun. I would definitely recommend.
