I bought this for my family member that was caregiving my father-in law, who could not get in and out of the car easily. Such a simple little thing but works like a charm.

These helped my elderly mother getting in and out of the car, but they bump against the window when the door closes and when placed in a good spot for her to reach, they were a little too close to her face. They served their purpose though, and I can use them for other things, like carrying 100' extension cords and such. They seem well-made and were super easy to install as well.

They can stay permanently in the widow, which shuts tightly over the strap without the handle waving around or banging pn the window when the car is going. This is great! I'm 62 yo, 5'4" and 155 pounds. My husband bought a truck that has an 18 in step down! It was taking me several minutes to worm my way down and all the while trying not to fall (I'm old!) But this grab handle feels very secure and I am able to lower myself down. I don't put it on the window. The area behind the front seat has a grab bar for the rear passenger. I have it attached through that handle and pull it around for my use in the passenger front seat. I like it so much I've ordered 2 more for my other vehicles, although they aren't quite as high as this mammoth truck. I highly recommend this grab handle.

This device in combination with a car cane is a lifesaver. My Dad has mobility issues and had fractured his arm. Needless to say getting in and out of the car is increasingly difficult. This allows him to pivot and support himself with minimal assistance. The 2 pack is useful to keep in multiple vehicles or keep the 2nd for travel and convenience

The seats of my car are quite low and my elderly frail mother needs assistance both getting in and out of the car. This provides help and both as well as she likes to hold onto it while we’re driving. It is super easy to install very durable and I can leave it up the whole time whether she’s in the car or not. My mom also uses it to close her door and it gives her a sense of independence. I highly recommend this product
