Been looking at these for ages and didn’t expect much tbh for the price had other brands similar prices but they were rubbish , however first impressions are very good!Does exactly what it should, detects stud and finds the centre which is great, found pipes and cables with ease.Just follow the instructions you can’t go wrong!Great price well made itemBargain!

I've tried a few of these type of devices over the years and my experience has generally been negative. Only used for detecting wooden studs so far but this one does seem to work fairly accurately, through plaster board at least. Note that it couldn't find studs behind tiles on plasterboard though, which was really my main reason for purchase.

Does what it needs to do. Mixed reviews re this, but I can say it does work for me and is accurate enough, decent price compared to others. Overall 👍

This works OK, but I don't find the instructions especially good, or find it very intuitive to use. It seems to give a lot of random bleeps. That said, when it does find something, it is generally reasonablly unambiguous.

Instructions are easy to follow, item works as described.Doesn't come with batteries as described.

I don’t usually do reviews but had such a bad experience with this item that I felt I had to relay this to others. I followed all of the instructions and gave it a good chance but It’s a very unreliable product.It can’t seem to make up its mind about whether there is an electrical cable in the wall or not. I hold it over a spot and it tells me there is a cable one moment but if I go back and try the same spot again it says there isn’t.I tried it on a wall that I know doesn’t have any sockets or light switches on, but it still remained ambivalent about there being cables or not. This has made me so unsure that I haven’t been able to do any of the DIY that I wanted to. It’s worth paying out more for a better product.

This may work well in a modern house - but in a pre-1900 terrace with lathe & plaster walls it simply fails to identify batons accurately.Even worse, it seems to think that we have electrical cables running randomly across every wall.To be fair, the instructions do state that it may struggle with lathe & plaster. Just a shame the Amazon description missed out this vital piece of information.

Every review I have read of all these products for finding studs, has about 5% to 10% of buyers being unsatisfied and saying the products are rubbish and they do not work. I risked 20 quid on this item because it had slightly more % of good reviews and slight lower % of bad reviews than the others. Would you believe, it works perfectly well as long as you read and follow the excellent instructions. It seems to be a nicely made bit of kit. This will make life so much easier than tapping walls and listening to the sound, or drilling a series of small holes to locate the wooden stud.Highly recommended.

I use the mounts under a train layout for wiring the power bus and the accessory bus. I planned to run the buses, tighten the bundle ties as always, and then any subsequent wires runs could be threaded through the tie or - the tie could be cut and a new one installed. It turned out that the multiple runs of wire are still light enough and the tie itself is rigid enough that wires/ties held in place after only running the tie through the slots in the mounts - as if they were there only temporarily. The process saved time and the hassle of buying additional ties. The ties remain in the "temp" mode with no plans to fully wrap them. The screws provided are ample for attaching the mounts on a 3/8" plywood.

Perfect tool for adjusting blade angles on my table saw, miter saw and just about anything else I can find. Not as simple as a square, but I find myself reaching for this when I want to know it's right.

These clips worked very well holding my gardening hoops in place. Baby plants are very vulnerable to their environment, which makes it important for things to do what they advertise. 5 stars!

Strange substance. Brkkkkk

This is the first digital level I have ever bought. I chose this product because of all the other reviewsbtw. It has several different modes, including degrees, mm/m, inch/ft and %. It will tell which side is high or low of course. It has a relative setting as well, which is usuefull when trying to fix something with a slanted reference point, for instance a car parked on a hill. Also, it comes with a magnet, that is strong enough to hold it to a fridge etc and a backlight. To top it of, it has its own little tool belt pouch. If I had one naggle, it would be it turns itself off after 15 seconds or so, which is great to preserve batteries (which came included with mine!!!), but you have to work quick. All in all, it would be tough to beat this small level for the price.
