These are adorable smushed face grey elephants! The one on the left weighs 374 grams and the other weighs 358 grams. Not bricks, but will hold steady to hold a few books if that is what you are looking for them to do.I got mine to serve as elephant "figurine like" decorations.The bottoms have a soft velour black pad on them to make them smooth for tabletops and glass surfaces. Unfortunately that also makes them too smooth for too many books and they slide out easily.My problem with these, and you can see from the close up image, is that there is slight imperfections on the "flat belly" areas that are keeping their faces from touching each other. From a distance or an angle you'd think they are smooshed together, but when you are up close or the right angle you can see the "crack" of light between them. It's a slight annoyance as I wanted them to look as one.They are still adorable and look good as far as their purpose (my purpose of a decorative element).

Very lovely bookends! The duck’s hands are holding the books. These bookends are pretty steady. It adds so much life to my book shelf. I didn’t know book ends can be this cute. I recommend them as a gift for anyone.

They are super cute but don’t do what they are designed to do which is keep up the books. They aren’t weighted at all. Consistently fall over

I really love this set of duck bookends. They are on the heavier side so they will hold your books. Or you can just put them together for decorating. They each have a hand that slightly wraps around the book so it looks like they are holding it. They have cute light pink cheeks. I would say they are a very pale yellow or off white color. They are really just to cute. 😊

These are so cute! They look so pretty on my bookshelf and work so well! They are very well made and I have gotten so many compliments on them. would recommend.

They look like the pictures. They're cute. The thing is they're light and they don't hold books up. They're purely decorative. Could use it with one of these clear transparent plexiglass numbers. But they won't hold the book up by themselves. Especially if you have them at both ends.
