Another stellar moondrop entry, the cable exceeds expectations
I'm not usually someone who EQ's headphones - I like them to sound the way the designer tuned them. But with the moondrop app (have to download the APK for android on their site) the degree and precision of the EQ tuning is HUGE. And the side perk is they're a standard 2 pin 0.78mm design on the cable with a slight recess, so anything you want with a 2 pin design can just plug right in.The cable also actually plays nice with dolby atmos on my phone - a rarity. It sounds fun and lively, instead of weird and unnatural. The biggest boon to the cable that had me leery is that I'm super, SUPER sensitive to "amp click" and low level hiss. the quark DSP was unusable because of that. But I'm happy to report this cable is silent on both sides. No hiss, no click when you're not playing anything and scrolling through youtube. The IEM's work just fine with a regular 2 pin too. Sound is great. These really do sound like a solid $100-150 IEM. I definitely prefer the simgot EM6L to these, but these are a little smoother, trading a little detail and soundstage for cohesiveness. They're gorgeous looking too. And the semi-custom fit is just right for me with some shallower tips. They're a fun tuning at baseline, a little warm-neutral V shaped. The micro planar really is nice and textured - something I like when companies leave in. I think I like them a little more than the aria 2, but they're just a bit more grown up and the aria goes for pure fun. But I'm sure you could tune these to get there as well.It would have been nice if the cable came with a reverse type C to 3.5mm adapter but that's asking a lot, this thing already delivers a ton for the money. The only thing I think is a little odd is the diameter of the nozzle. It's REALLY wide. It's not a super deep/wide design like the truthear zero, which was like trying to fit a cannon down your ear canal (and thus was super uncomfortable for me) but since the tip does the fitting, it's comfortable. It just is WIDE, so fitting tips on it can be annoying. The stock tips were actually a real pain to fit on them. But they'll accept most tips - dunu SS, TRN T tips, coreir brass, everything normal fits, it's just a challenge to put them on for some. And I do wish it had the brass detachable nozzle and replaceable filters of the chu II and Aria II. That really is a superb design choice that the may lacks.Truthfully, there are no deal breakers here. The price they're asking would be almost fair for the cable alone - a really nice DSP and EQ tunable cable is impressive with no click or hiss. And then throw some $100-150 sounding IEM's in as well? Nobody tell moondrop, they forgot to put a 1 in front of their price.

Nice!!!
I just received these and I like them a lot. I have a few IEMs in my collection and my previous faves were TFZ No. 3, well not anymore. These are very nice looking IEMs with a nice finish on the faceplate. The cable is very nice but not as noce as some of my other cables, the braid is a little inconsistent, but other than that it's a nice cable. I do like not having a dongle with me.Let's talk about the sound. I wasn't expecting much from the stock tune, but it sounds good right out of the box. The bass is nice and tight with a little rumble and it extends well into the sub bass region. These aren't basshead IEMs but they do have nice bass. The mids are a little recessed which isn't a bad thing. There's a enough air in the mids to resolve some fine details. Instruments are a little cozy but it's fine. The upper mids are nice and slightly elevated which is nice and not too shouty. Vocals sound good and full. The treble is nice. I would say there is enough treble, but not too much. There are nice details in the treble with enough sparkle to sound good with cymbals without overdoing it. Too me the treble does sound a little artificial and textured. It's not bad treble, but it's not the best treble I have heard. It's still sounds great though. Overall the sound of these is great. The DSP/cable works well, it get the IEMs plenty loud and there isn't any noise present. The app needs work but the presets work well... I liked the harman target the best. I haven't played to much more with the app and since I don't need it and it wants access, I set the DSP and uninstalled it.The case is a nice addition, it's a nice leather like case, I will definitely use it. The ear tips are too small and I went with eartips I already had. They should definitely ship with better fitting eartips. Overall for this price, this is a nice great sounding and feature rich set of IEMs, give them a spin.

Decent earbuds, usb-c cable has slight noise to it.
I really do like these earbuds, they're quite convenient for those without a 3.5mm output on their phone. On their own with a normal cable without any eq tuning, they're just okay. They can be tuned to your liking through the moondrop app available on their website, and they can sound pretty great. However, I took off a star because I can hear this audible static with the usb-c cable. It normally hear it after something is paused. It's hard to tell if this static is present in my music or other audio sources. These can be nice if you're traveling, easy to connect to your phone with the usb-c. Otherwise I wouldn't listen to these at home, if you do, you're better off switching to a different cable and eq it that way.

How?
These sound really good. The problem is that they have severe air pressure build-up. How is this even possible, considering they have 2 vents? I couldn't wear these for more than 5 minutes without severe discomfort.
