It is easy to use. It sharpens a knife quickly. On thinner blade’s like small pairing knives it may require moving the bale in the magnet or putting a cutting board under the knife to keep the edge of the blade positioned. For larger knives like chefs out carving it is very easy. It only needs a few strokes on each side of the blade to dress the edge of ask it needs is a touch up. For a dull knife I was done on less than 20 strokes per side. The leather strop works well to finish the blade or to just give a sharp blade a quick dressing.

The sharpener definitely works but after only a few uses, you can already tell the sharpening side of the tumbler will not last long and lose its effect. So for the price point, getting a tumbler might not be the proper long-term investment. You're probably better off buying sharpening stones themselves.

I had a bunch of old kitchen knives that this sharpened up and now they are useful again.

Its not good for small knives. I've spent time on dull knives for over 20 minutes trying to get the sharp. And the same with some knives that need a tune up. I cant say ive gotten the results that I've wanted. If I could. I would return this set. Spending the money I did. I thought that I may need more time. Or different knives. That's definitely not the case.

I was skeptical with the rolling sharpeners I’ve been seeing but my knives have been getting extremely dull and the sharpener I had wasn’t cutting it. This sharpening set has been great, it’s perfect for most of my knives but unfortunately it’s too large for my smaller steak knives. Super easy to use and sharpens the blades really well, definitely would recommend.

Pretty straight forward to use. I sharped my chefs knife and my EDC pocket knife for comparison. The chefs knife came out pretty good. I could shave a couple hairs off my arm and it passed the paper cut test. The pocket knife not so much. The magnet stabilizer is too tall for it to hold for the sharpener to work the edge while the spine stays level with the surface. I tried to set it up where the edge stays exposed but it just doesn’t work that well. Doesn’t shave, doesn’t pass the knife test. Overall it’s good for larger knives but not for anything that isn’t taller than the magnetic holder. I wouldn’t say this was worth the value. I mainly bought it because my pocket knives get dull quicker than anything else.

This was a gift for our son and he raves about it. Thought for what it is seems fairly pricey. I have a Ken Onion sharpener that is similar money and can't say enough about it.

I have used many different knife sharpening tools over the years and this one is by far the worst I have ever used. I wish I could get my money back. It flattens out the curve of your knife, it doesn't sharpen evenly, the magnetic holder magnatizes the knife so all the filings stick to your blade and you can't get them off and it takes forever. I spent 45 min with it and it only sharpened part of the blade. If I could give it negative stars I would.
