I have needed a media stand for a long time...and didn't know it. I have an older model 6 disc changer and a heavy, biggish Bose speaker. The CD changer is 17inches by 17 inches and about 6 inches tall. The speaker is 16x14x12 and weighs at least 30 lbs. I have had this equipment for several years. I love the way they work. They were also pricey. So I'm not at all interested in changing them out for something else. I also have been trying to makeshift shelving for years. And it never worked out to my satisfaction. Thus began the search. There are a lot of them on Amazon. I needed to make sure I found one that would hold the size and weight of my components. Many look alike, but the dimensions vary greatly. I found this one. I was a little hesitant to pay about 100.00 including tax. Turns out this thing is worth it. It is very sturdy. The wood, although the engineered type is thick. The design and machining work is thought out and acurate. The trapazoid shape adds a stability to the over all structure and has a chill vibe. As does the led lighting. Which I didn't think I'd care for until I tried them. Love the attached power strip. Manages cords well. Only need to use one wall outlet for two devices. This is a simple straight forward assembly. However the some of the hardware is mislabeled but the instructions with big illustrations gets you past that with no problem. I am very pleased with this purchase and would definately recommend it.

I rated this a four star because the final product was good - sturdy and looks good. Shelf height accommodates my equipment perfectly. Assembly was a giant hassle, though. Instructions were unclear, and drawings were misleading at times. That resulted in me having to take apart and redo steps more than once.

This is a really solid and great looking stereo stand. Perfect in any room. Easy to assemble

It's very easy to assemble, and very sturdy. The instructions pictures are very easy to follow and show pictures of what screw to use.The package of screws are well numbered. Comes with a small phillip screwdriver and hex wrench. Fits where I want it. I like the light strip that adds a mood to the room at night. Love the black frame and shelf.

Nice looking piece of furniture at a great price. Strong, sturdy and pretty easy to assemble. Just the right size for displaying some of my older stereo equipment.

Easy to assemble and looks really nice in our living room. Don't need tools as it comes with a screwdriver and Allen wrench. The power strip that attaches to it works great, one thing that sucked was there were no pre made holes drilled for the power strip, so I had to do it. The led light strip is a nice addition. I ordered the 5 shelf version which holds our turntable, receiver, cable box, speakers, and DVD player. Highly recommend this product

Very heavy duty. Assembly went fine. So well built it takes some time to assemble. Some extra parts were included which is a nice touch. The led lights work fine, though I don't see any need for them. The stand is sturdy and consequently somewhat heavy. But that's a good thing for audio equipment. Recommend.

First issue is the unsightly joints in the front of the stand that is edited out in the listing pictures. Second issue, someone said it was sturdy....it is not. Might be ok if you don't have a turn table, but for me it was not a good purchase. Its a wobbly stand that is not suitable for as a solid platform. But it gets 2 stars for the price.
