My orthopedic doctor recommended this brace as a way to temporarily stabilize my knee for a torn meniscus and worn out cartilage until replacement surgery can be done. Although, as expected it does not eliminate any pain or discomfort but it does allow the user to do light duties such as washing dishes and walking around. Additionally, it is fully adjustable to fit almost anyone no matter the size of your thigh and calf are and can be adjusted to open either side of your knee depending on your doctor’s recommendation. The only downsides are the cost and I have to remove it when setting and driving.

This product was the difference between walking pain free and not walking at all. It works amazingly well to support the knee and prevent pain and further dislocation while walking. I found that the cushioning material in the strap below the knee does chaff and cause a mild itchy rash after extensive use, so they could improve there, but otherwise I am very grateful to have found this brace. Highly recommended.

This was a lifesaver. My knee folded forward! I collapsed in a driveway and couldn’t see a doctor for 9 days. This was delivered next day. Allowed knee movement to avoid stiffness, yet stops at 0 degrees. I had to remove the cushion on the hinge for comfort. But it’s a great, easy to use, put on, take off. I use it with a crutch. Went to work with it on.

Purchased this brace on July 19, 2025, nearly two months ago. After spending a premium I was pleased with the brace until the varus/valgus hinge began to disassemble. Luckily, I found the piece, (metal rod) that holds it together as it slipped out while I was walking, but no matter how I try to secure it, it keeps falling out/failing. I'm hoping the manufacturer will see this and send me a new brace, because I certainly don't have time to mess with it AND my knee. Really disappointed and I'd think twice before spending so much.

Orthopedists will generally pooh-pooh such braces. They AREN'T as effective as a knee arthroplasty (or "replacement" for people with the problem for which this brace is appropriate - that is, osteoarthritis predominantly in one side of the knee - medial vs. lateral - and can be a bit of a pain-in-the-ass to fit, wear and adjust - but they can be useful to help get a few months of partial relief while waiting for surgery and doing some walking or work.I used this for my wife, and had some difficulty getting her to use it because fitting was a bit difficult and I couldn't persuade her to put up with it long enough to work out the basic adjustment - which is, how much to decrease the load on one compartment (the medial vs. the lateral) vs, the other. Then, a couple of weeks before the surgery but a month or so since I bought the brace, I nagged her into trying various adjustments long enough to assess the benefit. She finally agreed it did help "some" when she did extensive walking or chores. Now she's doing MUCH better after the surgery.

I bought these for my Husband, these are his words.Left came used and opened. Pads on straps different from Right one I ordered, which came in a sealed bag.Adjusting is a chore, but once all setup the snaps make it easy on/off. I advise small adjustments when first wearing on knees to the Ratchet adjustment, I got mine too tight starting and after 10 minutes backed them off a little. I wore them on both knees while edging my yard, I have corner lot so you with that type understand. Afterwards my knees really felt ok, I was impressed. So the 3 Star is the way it was sent to me. I can also advise you to take time setting them up right. It may get frustrating but you will be glad you did later.

Very impressed with this design and the adjustment features. Usually one size fits all braces means one size fits none. But this one fits like a glove and has the best adjustments features I have seen for a brace. This brace is the only brace that actually helps me walk and takes away a good amount of pain as well. A+

For the price super quality and easy to use. I wouldn’t use it during sports like hockey but will definitely use to heal myself again.
