ROYAL CANIN Medium Puppy 4 kg

I put my dog on this product when he was a puppy after researching which dog food supplier would be best to bring him up on to make sure his health and diet benefited his life.He is now almost 1 and is still eating Royal Canin along with other things as I've seen that it has kept him healthy and energetic and its a food that he always enjoys. This exact bag of dog food its a great size, by that I mean as its a top quality food you don't need to over feed to make sure your dog gets the energy and good stuff to help them grow into healthy dogs so the bag wont be over overpoweringly large in size.The dog food itself is just small sized biscuits which helps for small growing puppies as they don't have a large thing to chew on which can cause them to choke. The dog food smells great, very meaty and fresh.I would recommend anyone with a new puppy to buy this dog food as it didn't let me down and helped my dog become a strong healthy dog.

A friend of mine is a breeder up in the Highlands & he uses Canin for all his pups.I was using another leading brand of dry puppy food for our labradoodle & whilst he was really enjoying, the nutritional quality of Royal Canin is actually better.I guess the hardest bit is getting the right quantity for your pup. The instructions on the side are good, but you can also call their helpline for advice which is what I did..0845 300 5011 they were very helpful.Have had no problem switching our pup onto Canin - a couple of people have recommended that it is actually a very good idea NOT to stick just to one brand, because every dog is different & likely that some dogs need a certain vitamin more than others, or more or less protein than other dogs. Foods all have different nutritional content & advice I was given was to feed for a month on one food & then switch over the last week by mixing the foods slowly at first & then increasing the new food. This helps avoid any tummy upsets!But in terms of Royal Canin, no problems - my puppy enjoys very much. Delivery quick with Amazon & MUCH cheaper than the well known pets chain!

Royal Canin is recommended by many many many vets, dog owners etc. Indeed, it is a dog food of high quality. Our whippet loves it. I could even write that he loves it too much.As far as I am concerned the aroma of this dry food is the most intensive of all brands we have used so far. Our dog was never a big eater, but with this Royal Canin he became quite a fan. For sure he eats much more than he did before.Thus the conclusion: Royal Canin is not so economic as other brands. Would I recommend? Yes, but look around, because there are products of other brands as good as RC, though cheaper.

My border collie has been eating this food for the last 6 months and he really enjoys it.Pros- Amazing for his coat leaves it looking nice and smooth and shinny a lot of people have pointed this out!- Might be quite expensive but it does what it says Amazon is great price for the 15KG bag.Cons- Has a strong smell but if you store it in a good air tight container that helps.I will be carrying on feeding my puppy this.
