I’ve owned MANY George Foreman grills over the past few decades. For the longest time, nothing compared to the original GF white grill I had. It was built tough and cooked meat perfectly. The next few models either died within a few years or didn’t sear my meats well enough. It’s been about 7-8 years since I used one, so I decided to give this guy a try. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Takes a few mins to heat up, but that gives me time to get my meats and veggies ready. I usually marinate my chicken and steak a few hours before, or even overnight. I love how hot it gets to create the perfect grill marks! Chicken tenders only take 4ish minutes. My 4-5oz filet mignon takes 5-6, or less depending on thickness. I never see ANY raw areas. Perfectly and evenly cooked every single time, no matter where it is on the grill plate. My previous grills had “hot spots” and “cool spots.” Grilling veggies takes the longest so far. I tried doing kebabs, which worked but were way too thick and took a long time since the lid wouldn’t close tight enough. It’s a breeze to clean! Half the time I just wipe off the burnt crusty stuff with a wet paper towel. I can take it apart and wash it by hand, or throw the parts in the dishwasher. Putting the electrical unit back together isn’t too hard. I highly recommend it if you live in an apartment or need a quick and easy way to get more protein in!! I’m on a fitness journey, and this makes the nutrition part a lot simpler on meal prep days. UPDATE: This makes the best, juiciest chicken!!!! Steak seems a little too tough and dried out for some reason, so do it less time than you think. The only thing that burns is marinades (see pics), but the meat inside is super juicy and plump. Avoid oils to protect your grill!!

Bought this as an upgrade to my decade old George Foreman and the difference is night and day! This one is so much easier to clean, and the hinge is more flexible allowing you to grill thicker items more evenly. There is a drip tray under the grill plates temselves which is a great change from the slanted grill surface that drips into a plastic tray. If you are looking for an effective, easy, way to grill food on the countertop, look no further.

We bought this to replace an older George Foreman grill which we've had for ages. It makes morning bacon and grilled cheese sandwiches a breeze. Much faster than heating up a frying pan on the stove. This one is very easy to clean since it comes apart easily so the non-electrical parts can be cleaned in the sink.

I'm giving it 5 stars even though it died after 4 uses, the red heating light never came on it just stayed green like it was already at cooking temperature. Sometimes these things happen. Amazon was good about the return and I ordered another one. I like the fact that i can now put the grill parts in the dishwasher. When it worked it did a good job and was easy to clean. I've had the older versions which were harder to clean and they worked great. Hope the replacement holds out longer.

This is probably the best Foreman grill I've used yet, aside from it being overmarketed as a family-sized 4-serving grill. It's certainly not. This grill has maybe 20% more cooking surface area than the 2-serving classic Foreman grill, so I've docked a star out of principal because I don't like deceptive marketing. One other thing to note is the lack of any temperature control. For me this is not a deal breaker since the primary purpose of a Foreman grill is to sear meat at high temperatures, which brings out the flavor in meat like nothing else can besides a barbeque. If you're trying to cook something more gently, then an electric skillet or a slow cooker is perhaps what you're looking for. As for the positives of this particular grill: - the grease drawer underneath is designed well. It doesn't move around and it can hold a lot of grease. - this grill heats up super fast, as advertised. - the big selling point is being able to clean the entire thing in the dishwasher (minus the electrical part), which I've done a couple times so far and its like using a brand new Foreman grill afterwards. So if you ignore the deceptive marketing and the somewhat high price-tag for what is effectively a 2-serving grill, this is a great indoor grill for those who like keeping things clean. That and it stores vertically, which is an added bonus. Also, like with any foreman grill you're going to get a bit of white smoke on first use, even if you run it through the dishwasher first like I did.
