It works and is built well, very powerful with the 14900k and DDR5 overclocking. Box is pretty simple, no magic inside and/or seal.

It works, no issues with the board, was missing some screws, not a big deal as I had spares, quality of board is like new.

It’s a great board but only if you can get one that’s working or actually new. These boards do not come with factory seal therefore you will not know if it’s actually new or not. Unless you know where to look, I had to return 4 times to get an either new board or fully working. You either have markings on the edges of the PCB, dirty cpu socket, damaged plastic cover, pci express lane that is faulty, dims that does not achieve 8000mhz+ (validated CPU and RAM that does 8000mhz). Thank god for amazons great customer service taking the hit fof Asus’s poor quality control. The white z790 apex was definitely superior boards compare to the encore

Please do not buy! I went through 3 sets of ddr5 and palette of errors each time! Cleared CMOS, updated bios to the latest one! Also it came in none sealed box! For that price it should be sealed as any of the other Asus parts! Do not buy! Buy cheaper ROG Strix or other motherboards!

There was a two damaged CPU pins , I can’t take the risk of test it. Specially with 14900k 🙂 Otherwise Amazon always provides Good prices and Good quality items. And I already started a return request ..

Scheda madre pazzesca. Ho provato una z790 dark hero ma in confronto a questa era una ciofeca. Provengo da una z390 apex, z690 apex . Mai avuto una delisione da questa serie. Z790 Apex Encore non è da meno. Ram stabili in daily a 8000+ mhz con timing competitivi 8000/8200 cl36 con ram Dominator Platinum first edition con xmp a 7200, quindi ottima per overclock ram come da tradizione. Tenuta cpu altrettanto valida con I9 13900ks con boost tvb a 6100 mhz su 2 core. Mobo da paura.

I got what seems to be a used card. The box was damaged outside and inside and the safety seal sticker is completely non-existent. I'm extremely disappointed. No time stated for the replacement as of this date. Please help.
