ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition Color Duplex Invoice Document Scanner for Mac and PC Works with QuickBooks Online, Black

I have had a Neat Desk scanner since they came out. When they changed the software began the issues. It became more troublesome than it was worth. I had to have an ID remade and the receptionist had to scan in several documents, different sizes, and even other smaller scale cards. She did them all within about 15 seconds, front and back with the smaller desktop version of this scanner. Excellent quality product. I looked for the scanner online when I got home. I bought the larger scanner with 'better' software, same company. Footprint is still small. Folding cover keeps the dust out of the scanner, which is great for longevity. I'm telling you, this scanner is quiet, fast, and downright amazing. I had to scan hundreds of bills and I put them in sections of 50, front and back. I was done in less than 5 minutes including the time to reclip them. Not a hiccup in the bunch! The Neat Desk scanner was donated to Salvation Army the same day! It works, but it's ridiculous amount of time to do the same work. I mean hours comparatively. As a Realtor, I need quality and work done expediently. This machine is amazing. So far, so good. Best money I've spent in awhile. FWIW: Very easy to set up, intuitive, and will make light of a pile of work.

I use this almost every day. It was easy to set up right out of the box and performance is fantastic and exactly what I needed in my life without ever knowing it existed before! The scanning speed raves me a ton of time over my 3 in 1 printer that i have been using for years.

I ordered this scanner to scan records receipts documents and it works perfectly. It sends everything scanned to folders on my computer. Great product and quality. Not disappointed

Great scanner, but software interface should be more flexible. And support is non-existent.

Zero stars. What happened? I’ve owned a Scansnap S1500 Since 2010 - it was nearly foolproof. Rarely had misfeed issues. The new iX1600 is horrible. The document feeder regularly takes all pages at once! Several times with different but similar documents, spent over 30 minutes fanning, manipulating & crinkling the sheets to get them to feed properly. I’m not going to mess with that anymore! Not EVER going to buy Scansnap (Scamsnap?) again! Again - what happened? Either they changed the feeder mechanism for the worse, skimped on materials to save a few bucks or forgot how to make it reliable.The ONLY reason I tried the new Scansnap iX1600 is because I’ve changed PCs and downloads no longer available for the S1500. Planned product obsolescence!! I’ve seen off-brand software available but who knows if it will introduce malware at the same time. Just say no!! Looking for another brand of scanner!Thanks Amazon for being able to try the product & return it before any more regrets, wasted time & wasted money!
