Excellent product and a must have in the kitchen

Cheap construction but does the job

Very insubstantial, bent pulling out first cork I tried.

Broke after only a couple of uses.

I really liked is sturdiness.

I managed to open my bottle of wine using this corkscrew. Unfortunately, the plastic insert at the base of the corkscrew detached after I managed this and lodged itself on top of the bottle of wine in question. This insert was removed from the wine bottle and reinserted with few issues, but I would rather not do that every time I open a bottle of wine. I have since left this corkscrew at a friend's house and bought another (admittedly more expensive) corkscrew of a simpler (what-I-call 'traditional waiter') design at a local cookshop.

Having tried so many 'new' style bottle openers, I have this decided that this particular style is far better than any other type. Highly recommended.
