Works fine but kinda wish it was the opposite way around. Also wish it allowed for charging but that was specified on the product page so that’s fine. Perfect for running my mouse, keyboard and controller and meta quest link cable. Haven’t tested usb flash drives yet.

I was using an ACER 4 port hub I bought last year almost identical to this and it gave me nothing but grief. Every time I disconnected or connected a HDD or usb stick it disconnected everything and then had to re-read and ‘reconnect’ the plugged in devices, most times taking upwards of 5min for each drive, and sometimes not reading them at all. This was my first experience using a hub so I thought this must be normal, Acer being the reputable brand it is. However, the last straw for me was sitting with my son for over 45min wanting to watch a new anime via portable HDD and the Acer hub not detecting the drive even though that drive was plugged into it the day before. So I went hunting online to find a new hub and opted to try this one and it is friggin amazing! The detection and read speed on my almost full 5tb WD portable HDD was almost instant when I plugged it in. I now have 3 ports in use, all with 5tb HDDs and read speed and swapping between drives in the KODI menu on the Shield is smooth as. Nothing else disconnects or tries to reconnect when I remove a drive either which is nice too and I imagine that is how it is supposed to work.
