Got it as a gift for the husband and he loves it. This particular miyoo didn’t have a lot of reviews but I still got it and we do not regret it. There are 3 main things that made me take off a star. #1 You need to buy a new SD card and download Onion OS and all the games if you want a device that saves games and is searchable and overall a better experience. The download took us about 1.5 days cause it’s huge! But it paid off it’s a better toy now. #2 The second thing, at first the WiFi option was turned on and that made the device heat up a lot! We also could not figure out how to turn it off and the thing could probably burn to the touch. Eventually, we figured out that there is no need for WiFi especially since it’s being used for retro games that didn’t require WiFi when they first came out. #3 You can only charge it with the tiny cord it came with. You can’t plug it to a regular connector, we’ve only been charging it with our desktop computer, it’s the only thing that works. A friend told us that it’s because it’s an A to C charger or something like that (I’m not an expert). Overall, fun toy but requires a lot of research and knowledge to get it to be the best it can be. But now I summarized everything for you, so you’re welcome your research is now done. Also, don’t steal my review and put it on your website. It took a lot of work to get this knowledge down!

Alright, I finally got my hands on a Miyoo Plus. I know some people prefer other styles to this, but here me out. The Miyoo Plus comes preloaded with a TF 128 GB on the Onion OS. I have an RGX style handheld at home and this one is so much easier to use than that one. It plays from NES to PS genre. Including older games like some Arcade, Neo Geo, and others in addition to your GBA/GB side of things with Sega. This pretty much covers the older consoles. The OS is super easy to use. It is great for people with small hands like myself. You can add more games if needed and it is always a good idea to have backup TF/MicroSD cards up to 128 GB and add/change games if needed. Comes with a USB drive with a slot for your TF card to put into the computer if you need to do anything. The plus is that this console is easy to connect to wifi. Although, you may not need it the console is very much portable and comes with a variety of colors. It comes with a Type-C cable to charge. Small/short cable, but there are some ways to play this console with a 3D printed stand or use a grip on some of the games. (They run about 20-22 for a grip if you feel like you'd like the accessory.) And stands are from the about 18-28 USD range before tax for a 3D stand charger for the Miyoo plus. I personally love mine especially with nostalgia games such as Pokemon, Sonic, Battle Arena Toshinden (PS) - Classic fighting game I enjoyed as a kid, among many others such as Mario, Zelda, etc. In addition to Chinese/Japanese versions. The best part of this console too is that it comes with "themes" to change the interface. Because mine is Purple like the retro N64 controller type, I decided to go with Evangelion for mine, but I can always change it later to something else in the settings. It is very easy to use. Very much fun and the fun can last 3-5 hours on a single charge depending on what exactly you are playing. Recommend for Nostalgic Retro gamers or anyone who wants to try this out.
