Worked as a hole saw should.
I used this hole saw to install 6 recessed d rings on my trailor.. it sawed/drilled 6 holes in a wood floor 1 1/2 thick .it worked well and none of the teeth was damaged after the 6 holes.i haven't tried this tool on metal though.. only used it on wood .

Does the job. Price/performance spot is right.
As the photos show, it did a perfect job cutting a 6 1/2" hole in my new cielling of 1" thick tongue & groove pine boards for new low-profile/flat LED recessed light fixtures.I cannot say anything meaningful about longevity of the hole saw, like many here in the reviews, I just have this small project of the cielling with 5 lights to do. After that, it's going to get put away for future need thar may never come. Or get lent out to a relative someday. However, 1" thick pine is a tougher challenge than the drywall the majority of people will likely use it on, and it did the job well. And checking around, the least expensive alternative in a local retail big-box home improvement store was $7 more. And it was the flat carbide "bumps" type that's better on drywall or tile, and difficult to use on wood. And it's no different as it is made in China too.My only significant advice is that big & wide hole saws, no matter the brand, put a huge amount of torque on the drill. And if they catch, stick, or kick in what you're cutting, they can twist the drill very SUDDENLY and very HARD.This can knock you off a ladder. Or posibly twist the drill so the battery box slugs you right in the jaw, as hard as a decent boxer's punch. If you haven't used one before, it's really worth 10 minutes of time to practice on a piece of scrap board similar to what you plan on cutting the hole into. It's important to get a feel for how the saw behaves on the drill's "Fast - Drill" and "Slow Hi-Torque" settings behave. Plus, it's good to have an understanding of how important it is to keep the saw level and square to the surface you're cutting. Because angling it unintentionally is what will make the teeth on one side dig in, stop the drill, rip it out of your hand, and make it slug you in the face. And, if your drill has a side handle for an extra 90° hold, use it.

41/4" hole saw
It worked well. I cut through a half inch of plaster and 3/8" lath. I only needed it for one cut. The only downside is that it wouldn't be good for multiple cuts. Although I don't think it was intended for plaster. Great for wood and drywall though. I used it to cut a dryer vent hole.

I had to send it back but nice item
I don't know anything about drills. This came and I was excited. I found that it did not fit my drill so I had to send it back as I could not use it. My fault, not this product. If you know what you are doing with drills and can actually measure, this is a fantastic product. It is heavy weight and well put together. I was disappointed, not in the product, but in myself.

Bought this to make corn hole boards
Like the headline says, bought this to make corn hole boards for a friend as I didn't want to have shotty holes using a jigsaw. Quick and easy work, cut perfectly and my friend is happy with her boards!

Drill bits broke within 5 minutes
The first drill bit I thought was my own fault, maybe pushing the drill too hard. One of the teeth caught and held, which canted the whole thing and snapped the bit. The second bit went on, I continued on but slower and more gently, and the second bit snapped after maybe another 45 seconds of use.The saw portion seemed to be getting along fine, though.Hopefully I can find a sufficient replacement pilot bit to finish the job...

Bought this for installing recessed lights
Bought this for installing 4 inch recessed lights. Worked like a charm. Lights fit perfectly. More than good enough to go through drywall.
