Update: buy this one! let me say the seller was very responsive to my concerns. I had intended to return the item and i ordered another brand available on amazon at half the cost and there is no comparison. Other brands are cheaper quality and in the event of falling forward would not assist an adult from falling. This trainer is sturdy. I did recommend an additional size between teen and adult and seller appreciated suggestion. --Ordered the adult cuz the teen seemed it was going to be 2 short. The adult is tall! Once you add the wheels it's really to tall.

This works well and will build confidence in skating. The assembly is straight forward with the exception of the dried up glue they sent in a syringe. Use your own glue and your done ! Need a better way of packaging your glue !

The walker was too tall it was 6ft tall and was not useable no person is taller than 7ft this is a waste of money and is impractical. I do not suggest buying these at all especially the ones for adults.

I purchased this as a gift for my niece, who wants to learn to skate. It knocked my socks off! The design & sturdiness, the high quality wheels, the reliability & safety of it all -- this is a *must have* for kids wanting to skate. DuraCart knows what they are doing! Plus it looks pretty cool! She is now the envy of her friends, who all want their own! I've sent the link to parents at school & in our neighborhood. I can't say enough about this product!

Not gonna lie, this was for an adult that has never skated before. This skate trainer is helpful, especially if your kid/adult is just starting out and keeps wiping out forward. It definitely helps prevent those scary face-first falls, which makes learning feel less intimidating. It gave a bit more confidence in the beginning stages. I like that it uses real inline wheels — it rolls smoothly and isn’t super loud, which is nice. It also works in different places, like at the rink or outside on pavement, so you’re not stuck practicing in just one spot. That said, it’s more of a beginner helper than a long-term solution. It’s great for getting started and building confidence, but eventually you won’t need it anymore. Overall, it’s a decent training tool that does what it says and helps take some of the fear out of learning to skate. The only bad aspect of it was that it is too tall.

It makes skating so much easier. Purchased for 83 year old mother-in-law - she LOVES it! Now she can go skating twice per week❤️ It was easy to adjust for her small stature with just a hack saw.

The customer service is incredible! They had a wrong part in the package. I called the service number and they answered on the first ring. I sent a picture and within 5 minutes they answered the email and had a new part delivered the next day. This skate mate is a must if you are learning to skate or have not skated in a while like me. I ordered the tallest one, so I did not have to be bent over when skating. If you think the tallest one is too tall, you can always cut the poles that connect the top and bottom before assembling. Test it out with your skates on before gluing it.

This product helped get around the rink and others even asked where I got it. Many want to skate without worrying if they would break a hip.
