Excellent All-in-One Off-Grid Inverter — Powerful, Reliable, and Feature-Packed
I’ve been running the SUNGOLDPOWER 8000W 48V solar inverter for a few months now, and it has exceeded expectations in every way. I’m using it in an off-grid setup, and this inverter handles everything from heavy appliances to sensitive electronics with ease thanks to its pure sine wave output. Key Pros: • Built-in dual MPPT controllers are highly efficient and simplify wiring. • Max 200A battery charging capacity gives me fast recharge times, even on cloudy days. • The WiFi monitoring feature is a great bonus — I can track performance remotely in real-time. • BMS communication works perfectly with my lithium battery bank. • It supports both 120V and 240V output, which is essential for split-phase systems like mine. • UL1741 certification gives me peace of mind regarding safety and reliability. Setup was straightforward if you have some solar experience, though beginners might want a bit of tech support. The inverter is heavy-duty and well built — it definitely feels like a premium product. Bottom line: This is a top-tier inverter for anyone serious about going off-grid or building a hybrid system. It’s powerful, flexible, and intelligently designed. I’d definitely recommend it.

Powerful, reliable, and excellent performance
This inverter has been working flawlessly so far. The 10000W power output is more than enough to handle multiple appliances at the same time, and it runs very efficiently. Installation was straightforward, and the system feels solid and well-built. It’s a great option for off-grid or backup power systems, providing stable and reliable performance. Overall, excellent quality for the price and highly recommended.

It works; setup is not trivial; if you have questions contact customer support.
The 10kW inverter works pretty well. Setup was a little complicated for my use case. I am using this in an off-grid configuration to power a few high-power devices in my home and garden, most of which have their own Transfer Switch for when the Sun goes down. I have 2 solar arrays in my backyard which work well with the 2 MPPT inputs. My 1-unit system has enough power to run a 3.5kW Air Conditioning compressor with a SoftStart module in the summer (I highly recommend a SoftStart module for inductive loads like HVAC), or 1-2 electric heaters on cold winter nights. The inverter is installed in a special corner of my basement. I installed a special box with breakers and ran wires and conduit to all the places I need. The internal fan makes a little noise, but the beeping can be turned off. The batteries I use are just some golfcart LiFePo batteries. Their PC software for USB works, but divides some voltages by 4, probably because they reuse their firmware code for 12V models. EDIT: took me a while, but I figured out the included wifi data logger module only works with its special app. I had a minor configuration problem, but Customer Support was very responsive and sent me the correct Voltage parameter logic to make sure I don't keep cycling and clicking the relays on cloudy days: 15<12<04<14<35<37<05<(09,11). Overall experience is positive. Very nice box with a lot of integrated functionality.

Works well and good quality.
It has been running for about 6 months now and working as I planned. Currently I only have 3 lightly loaded circuits connected with no solar panels attached so basically it is running in UTI mode as a UPS. I plan on moving the deep freezer and refrigerator circuits to the panel and adding 3,000 watts of solar when I get a support structure built. So far it is working flawlessly with my 2 Vatrer server rack batteries. I dropped one star due to the complexity of the manual and clarity of the instructions but it does exactly as advertised and appears to be a well built unit. One thing that is more of an annoyance than anything is the cooling fans constantly cycle on and off, maybe every 8-10 minutes. If you are nearby trying to sleep, say in a small cabin, unless your hearing is diminished, it might keep you up at night. If it ran constantly at a slower speed until more cooling was needed it would be better, in my opinion. Works great and barely flickers the lights when it switches to battery when the power drops.

5 Stars... Exceeded Expectations!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Simple... price... features... and reputation. I did a lot of digging, and the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter checked all the boxes... high power output... solid build quality... hybrid functionality... and the ability to work with solar, batteries, and the grid. A lot of other brands felt overpriced or overcomplicated. Plus, I saw enough real-world reviews and videos showing this thing in action to feel confident it wasn’t just spec-sheet fluff. And now that I’ve installed it... I can say it was the right call. Rock solid performance without needing to babysit it every day. I recently purchased and installed the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter... and to say I’m impressed would be an understatement. This thing is built like a tank and performs even better than I expected. Once it's set up and configured, it’s completely hands-off... just the way I like it. It quietly does its job and hasn't missed a beat. It even charges my EV6 without breaking a sweat... which honestly shocked me. I figured I’d be tripping breakers or babysitting amps, but nope... smooth sailing. Sungold, you sly overachiever. The only minor hiccup was the manual... let’s just say it reads more like a riddle in spots. Some settings only work properly when paired with another specific setting... and that connection isn’t clearly explained. But I emailed support, and they got back to me fast... helped straighten out a few things... and now the system is running exactly how I want it. Already planning to buy more from Sungold... solid gear... great support... and a setup that just works. Highly recommend.

Easy Parallel install
I bought one of these on Amazon and a 2nd parallel unit direct from SunGoldPower. I installed both units in parallel with 240v split phase, at my off-grid cabin in Northern MN. I paired with 2 series of 8 x 380 watt panels tied into 2 sets of 4X12.8V 300ah LifePo4 battery banks. A total of approx. 6000 watts of PV, 32KwH batteries and 16KW of inverter power. The install was surprisingly easy especially after watching Will Prouse and WreeWray install the same or similar systems on YouTube. The inverters have worked flawlessly for the 3 months I've been using so far and, in parallel have easily been able to charge my wife's Chevy Bolt and my neighbors Nissan Leaf EV at level 2/40 amps. Only challenge so far has been to connect the units to WIFI which I didn't have at the cabin as we are too far off the grid. Now trying to set up Wifi using my cellphone as hotspot. Now entering the coldest part of the year when temps regularly go below -20f. I'm storing the batteries in a chest freezer with 3x 40 watt tank heaters to keep them warm. This will be the biggest challenge for the batteries as well as the inverters and I will absolutely update my experience. But so far, I've got nothing but praise for these inverters. Good Job SunGold! I've shared some pictures of my install in progress below. Don't have pics of the completed system but I'll take some next time I'm up at the cabin and will post them below

It's a powerhouse inverter!
So far this Sungold(SRNE) inverter is a beast powering any load I throw at it. Have it powering my off grid 50-amp RV and doesn't break a sweat with 2 15k BTU AC's, electric hot water heater, microwave, and electric burner running at once. It was kind of a pain to make all the AC out connections because the inverter connectors only accept max 8 gauge wire for some reason. Took quite a bit of effort to get my 4 gauge AC wiring to work. An inverter this big needs to accept 4 gauge wire especially on the neutral connection. Other than that the settings were easy to configure, my 7.5kW of solar PV is working great, and the unit is whisper quiet. I also got it communicating with Solar Assistant after buying a SRNE USB to wifi port cable on Amazon for remote monitoring. Make sure the Solar Assistant software is up to date if you try this.
